I was at the shelter this weekend and I took some pics of the cats. I wanted to share these sweet babies available right now at the Mobile County Animal Shelter. Do not forget to make sure you check your local kill shelter and SAVE A LIFE.
Look at these sweet faces.

What a bunch of adorable kitties!
Wish my Hubs would agree to a pet!!
The pictures are beautiful! We have adopted three cats from our local shelter and our newest black kitten is the best cat ever! Don’t be afraid to adopt black cats, folks! I have written several articles about our adoption adventures on my blog. Just enter “Lucy” in the search field to see the adorable pics and great stories and see my Pet Pics section to see the photos of the many great pets that most of my readers have adopted. Thank you for spreading the word about the sweet cats that need to be adopted. Our three cats are huge gifts in my family’s lives!
I adopted a little black one 2 weeks ago!
Congrats! Aren’t the black kitties awesome?! Yey for our new families!
They are all so precious! I thought about adopting a kitty but my DD’s best friend is highly allergic and she sleeps over often. It’s her only friend who can sleep over any time at a moments notice so I don’t want to ruin that. We will stick with our Pug, but on that note, I want to start looking into Pug rescues and adopting pugs in future!
I just love that you are a closet cat lady, much like myself. Such a great idea to share their pictures online!!
I am not sure if I am a closet cat lady…i have five…any more and I may be the crazy cat lady
I’m not even a cat person and these warm my heart. So cute!
they were all so cute!
Awww!!!
Your recent posts about adopting your new kitties gave me the push I needed to add a new kitty to our home after losing our dog and cat last year just a few months apart (both to cancer). We had one kitty still and she developed some nervous habits after Herman died and became very needy. We thought maybe she was lonely, but I debated bringing a new cat into the house since she does have some health issues too. What if she stresses and ends up sicker, etc. Everyone I talked to told me she needed a new kitty friend. Your posts and pictures sent me out looking. We brought home a 14 week old kitten (she looks like the 3rd picture too). Now I am afraid Molly won’t come around and tolerate the new kitty (there is no fighting, but lots of growling, hissing and hiding on M’s part).
dont worry, she will warm up! Every pet I ever had had to exert thier dominance, smack the new guy around a bit, and in about a month, it will be a thing of the past! Congrats on your new baby!
Btw, we havent owned a dog ever and we got one and our (15 year old cats) had to meet a new species…now they just walk right by him.
Beautiful pictures!
Great photos, Trisha! I used to do a lot of this kind of photography at my local shelter before my daughter was born. I found it so rewarding. Good for you for giving back and helping these animals find their forever homes! I look forward to returning to this kind of photography. Thanks for the inspiration.
Oh my goodness… my heart! They are so cute!
Love the kitties!!! They are super adorable. I don’t know how you can’t bring them all home with you.
its really really hard
