banner125x1251Last week some time I fell in love with a script and bought it thinking it would be easy to install. Not only was it not easy, it was damn near impossible. All over the web it was being talked about as not able to install specifically on the template I use for this blog.

So much for doing my ‘research’ first.

But a few people HAD gotten it as we found some sites live with it on the web so I had a small glimpse of hope that if someone, somewhere had done it, all was not lost. I honestly hated the thought of losing $15 on something I could not use. After completely screwing up a few practice runs on a tester blog, I turned to Kim and asked her if she would help.

She very unsuspectingly said yes. My master plan was at work. Kim is not a quitter and she would not let this script defeat her. What started out as a ‘little’ job, turned into a few days worth of adventure.

I am proud to show that Kim, indeed, did not let the template or the script overcome her, and after like 30 hours of work, has managed to get it in.  We now have a newer, prettier feature area so we can put in a few extra things we want to show off instead of just one. (Thankfully, I prenegotiated a rate, otherwise I would be out like $500 worth of labor.)

Thank you kim, I really love it.Your amazingly patient. Or persistent. Either way, you rock.
