Last month at the mall sometime, we ran into Santa. While she didn’t want to actually talk to him, (more like gawk, stare, and hide) he did manage to give us a little “Santa Stop Here” sign to put on our door and fill out the top 10 things that she wanted for Christmas on the back.
Of course with a child, those top 10 things change as quickly as the commercial does, but Charlotte brought it to me the day before yesterday and wanted to fill it out.
This is what she wrote.
1) Moxie Girls
(whew, we bought these…two of them actually)
2) Musketeer dress
(huh? I can only assume after watching the Barbie version of Three Muskateers no less than 393483984 times, she wants to be one)
3) Trampoline
(SCORE! This is on our list from Santa)
4) Basket with Food in it -like pineapples, apples, and watermelon. Oh, and some broccoli for mom.
(What kid asks for FRUIT for Christmas? Mine.)
5) Cookie Shaped like a train
(That sounds more normal, but very specific.)
6) Chocolate with mint inside
(Are you noticing a food trend here?)
7) Santa Doll that talks
(Sounds creepy to me, I think Santa will forget that one)
Santa Buddies Movie
(got it!)
9) Blue Butterfly Wings
(Odd request. She has lots of wings and they end up on the floor, torn, or on her stuffed animals. I’m still considering)
10) Hot Wheels- must have a loop di loop
(what’s Hot Wheels without a loop di loop, right?)
Have you written a Santa Letter yet?

CUTE List
LOL and some Broccoli for MOM atleast she didn’t leave you out.
HEY we have a talking Santa he sings songs and dances the kids luv him
awww thats really sweet. lots of little girls love wings, the fruit thing is a little strange but at least she’s eating healthy right? Do you think maybe you could make her some sort of musketeers dress? lol
I like her list! If you don’t go the Melissa and Doug route for play food, there’s a lot of really cute felt food you can get too!
My kids asked for Webkins..which they already have a million of and a dog. Uhhh, I don’t think Santa has a permit for that…
Hey Trisha – Here’s a fun little web site if you ever want to pull a little prank on hubby, Charlotte, or others:
http://portablenorthpole.tv/home
It’s a web site that allows you to create a fairly customized message to Santa and send it to whomever you want.
Ah hahahaha! Broccoli for Mom. Adorable.
LOL. That is a real cute list.
Oh what a great list! I agree the fake food would be a really cute idea. Those talking dolls freak me out lol. Reminds me I need to post Owen’s list too. His was rather interesting if I recall lol.
I agree with some of the above comments – play food! And my daughter has watched Barbie and The Free Muskatweers (LOL That’s how she says it) 5215841 times and wants some Free Muskatweers outfits too. Stab me in my eye! But I love how Charlotte asks for Hot Wheels too — atta girl way to get a little tomboy!
That is honestly too cute. I love how she asked for broccoli for mom. LOL! As for the talking Santa, I’m not much for dolls that talk because they can become annoying quick, but if its a battery operated one, you can let her have her fun for Christmas and then once she hits the hay that night you pop open the back of the doll, pull out the batteries, and humm guess the batteries are dead, you’ll have to get some for her later. Hopefully she will forget after while. If not, at least you had a few days of peace before you have to pop them back in.
There’s definitely a food trend! lol… Maybe you can convince her that Santa thought she meant pretend food and get her some Melissa & Doug play food… or something like that – then have a fruit basket on the table at all times…lol. Or play food in a fruit basket…. Check out the Clever Cookie for a cookie shaped like a train, they may have it (if you call them, they may do it custom – their bakery is right near me and they’ve done it for my aunt before). Yeah, not a fan of dolls that talk either… or any toys that “talk” they tend to “talk” by themselves when batteries run low and it’s always in the middle of the night… which is just freaky.
thats a clever idea w/ the fake food!
My niece is in the same general age bracket… it’s what I’d do for her!
The only thing my kids asked for was a Wii. They’re not getting one b/c we cant afford it but that’s all they asked for. GO figure, right!?
Hope Charlotte gets lots of goodies on Christmas and it’s wonderful! Poor thing, I’ll send her some fruit! lol
aww, thats sad stefanie.
Too cute!
whats hailey asking for?
Love her list. Haley wants Moxie girls also. I just love reading their letters. Hope you all have a great Christmas.
they were very reasonably priced!
Haven’t written a Santa letter yet, but we will this week~end.
And my daughter asks for fruit and vegetables, so at least you’re not alone.
isnt it the wierdest thing?
Aww, I love her list. We used to get an orange in the bottom of our stockings. Its supposed to be good luck.
we did apples one year and she was SO excited.
