Aww Charlotte is too cute!
My daughter does this often, I dont mind when we are at home. If we are going out anywhere I make sure she is all matching lol
She looks great! Definitely NOT People of Walmart. My son is around the same age and really likes to express his creativity through clothes too The last week of school before break he wore dress slacks, a dress shirt, tie and dress shoes every day.
She dressed herself better then my teenagers. WTG Charlotte! She looks very cute, not matching is in these days. My kids never match their socks, ever. So you know I love this picture.
We just pick our battles. glad you let her wear it. It gives them a bit of independence. I only fight the outfits if it is a picture day or we are going somewhere nice
I think she looks cute, she’s adorable to begin with. If she just put on matching socks I think the rest of the mis-matched outfit rocks! Wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas!
No, she’s way above the best dressed on the People of Wal Mart blog!
It’s cute to see their creativity at this age. I’d only worry if you were going to a nice party or dinner. Then, you give her two things to choose from.
Probably not going to squash her creativity, but I wouldn’t make her change THAT outfit because it’s not that bad, as long as it’s warm enough that she won’t freeze in it. She looks cute and proud that she dressed herself! I’d save wardrobe vetoes for weather-inappropriate attire and times like weddings and picture days when it’s most important to you that she match. My two-year-old isn’t yet picking her own clothes, but sometimes she will decide she wants to wear something like a hat that makes no sense or doesn’t fit and I have to pick my battles. Sometimes it’s just not worth a meltdown.
And also, that’s not nearly bad enough to be on People of Wal-Mart.
Let her wear it, there’s enough time for her to match when she gets into grade school, middle school, high school, etc. You’re giving her the self confidence to pick out her own clothes and knowing that you don’t care if she doesn’t do it “your way”.
LOL I am so glad my child is not the only one!! Jada now is going around with Hats to complete her look!
She’s so cute! I like the skirt.

Don’t worry it. At least she’ll get some fun publicity.

What is wrong with the way she is dressed? She looks fine to me. LOL. She is just expressing her creative side.
She is so cute! I love the skirt. I often see kids out in public and it’s obvious they dressed themselves.
I love that she’s exploring fashion
She’s Fancy Nancy! Seriously, it’s cute.

Oh how cute. Owen’s come up with some crazy outfits as well. I might just have to do a post about it lol.

It doesn’t really matter what she wears or how much she doesn’t match….she’ll still be a cutie!
She always makes me smile
Oh my daughter has style like that … too cute!!
I think it’s awesome! Hope you didn’t make her change! So cute!

I did let her wear it. She added TWO coats to the ensemble. A brown fuzzy button up and a pink and dark brown cape.
She was a sight.
Awww she looks very fashionable, reminds me of Punky Brewster! I loved that show. Just exudes her colorful personality
Such a cutie!

Awww – she looks cute! Don’t make her change!
Ah If you’re just going to Walmart who cares. If you however are going to a 5 star restruant you may want her to change a little.
LOL Such a cute outfit!
