Master Manipulator

Tonight at Walmart, Charlotte wanted me to take her to the restroom. Nothing against Walmart, but I hate all public restrooms. Plus, she makes me hold the button so it doesn’t flush on her butt and I always wonder what kind of diseases I am getting while I am standing there. I need portable Lysol.

Anyway, on the way out she is telling me how much she loves me. She is thanking me for taking her to the restroom (like I had a choice). Then after she has me all buttered up and kissing her cheek, she says ” Thank you so much for taking me to the toy store tomorrow, I love you.”

What? Double take.

“Excuse me?”

She repeats “Thank you so much for taking me to the toy store tomorrow, I love you.”

Holy crap is she smart. She turned her manners against me. The worst part is I now feel obligated to take her.

I read somewhere that you should keep a pad of post-it notes in your purse and stick one over the sensor each time so your child doesn’t get freaked out by the auto flush.

    this is a great idea!

just a tip about those automatic toilets. I always put a piece of toilet paper over the sensor unless it is the ones mounted to the wall then you just have get that portable Lysol.

If she is this good now I’d hate to see how she will be in a few years.
