The women not getting along thing goes away when you’re around 50. It’s all about hormones. While you’ve got the man-chasing, baby-making hormones sloshing around in your system, you’re competitive with other women and, well, kind of diva-like and bitchy a lot of the time. Been there, done that. Once those hormones go away, you will get along with other women a lot better. And you will be a lot easier to live with. Something for you AND your husband to look forward to (that is if he hasn’t taken off with a 20-something by then–his nubile-chasing hormones don’t go away until he’s about 90).

I agree with you and with Cindi. I was actually just thinking about this earlier today…then I read your post! You are one of the few that I’ve seen that actually has the guts to post something like this, and you said it very well. Women are brutal!!

I have very few friends IRL. Women suck. My closest friends are my online friends (many who I have met in person, but don’t live near). It IS darn hard to get along with most people. But I totally agree that this world would be a boring place if we did all get along.

I’m with you 100% – how boring would real life, much less blogging life, be if we were all the same? yuck.

I used to work with all women. It was drama all the time. Now I work with 5 men and one woman and it is AWESOME. Seriously. I never knew work could be so fun. I have always always always had more guy friends than girlfriends (I’m 38 but sound like I am 16) and I like it that way. Long live our differences!
