Monsters Inc 3D, Love this movie!

You may have seen the preview the last time you were at the theater but the movie Monsters, Inc. is getting itself another one, Monsters University. While it looks absolutely adorable, you should know that Monsters, Inc.  released a new 3D version in a combo pack on Feb 19th! Because we have a 3D TV, I was especially excited to see an old family favorite make the big screen in our house!

And so was everyone else around here:

If you haven’t seen it or haven’t seen it in awhile, here is the premise:

Monsters, Inc.

“Ultimate Collector’s Edition” — Debuts February 19, 2013

The now-classic Academy Award®-winning animated comedy adventure “Monsters, Inc.” is set in Monstropolis, a thriving company town where monsters of all shapes and sizes reside. Lovable Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) and his wisecracking best friend Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal) are the top scare team at Monsters, Inc., the largest scream-processing factory. The main power source in the monster world is the collected screams of human children—and at Monsters, Inc., an elite team of scarers is responsible for gathering those precious natural resources. Believed by monsters to be toxic, children are strictly forbidden from entering Monstropolis.  But when a little girl named Boo (voiced by Mary Gibbs) accidentally follows Sulley back into his world, he finds his career in jeopardy and his life in utter chaos. Assisted by Mike, the two pals plot to rectify the mistake and return Boo to her home.  When the trio encounters an unexpected series of complications, they become embroiled in a cover-up catapulting them into a mystery beyond their wildest dreams.

What I love about all these Pixar movies coming back out again isn’t just the new improved editions that are being put out, but the fact that I get to re-experience them with my son. He is just now starting to understand characters and get to know kid movies and Monsters, Inc. is bright, vivid, and perfect on 3D!

  1. I just adore your post. Your family seems to really enjoy the movie as what I can see on your photo. This is a great recommendation for me as I have kids. They just go crazy for some time and they just go uncontrollable so there is a need to get some motivation for them to stay put. This movie comes to be in perfect timing. I am excited to order on Amazon to show this movie to my kids.
