Muffins…no, not that kind. (Contest) CLOSED

Posted on FeatureBlogger on August 21, 2008 // 92 Comments //

We all love the fresh out of the oven, melt in your mouth muffins. All the different kind out there… blueberry, chocolate chip, banana nut all mouth wateringly yummy. Today, though, I want to talk about a different type of muffin that is not mouth watering, in fact it can down right make one lose their appetite.

Surely you know the muffin I am talking about…..

The unflattering fashion disaster known as “muffin top”.

I have yet to figure out why people try to stuff themselves into jeans that are 2 (or 10) sizes too small. It’s not flattering and whomever thinks it is, needs to seriously be taught a lesson in fashion, as well as, have their eyesight checked. It is not just a certain size woman this looks bad on, size does not matter with muffin top. It looks bad on everyone. If you have to suck in to button the jeans then chances are pretty good that you will have muffin top….. That should be the alert that you need a different size or maybe a different cut.

So please pass along the public service annoucement that

and let your friends know that the new “in” fashion are jeans that are the correct size, not jeans that fit like sausage casing.

CONTEST BELOW

If you DO have a pair of jeans, you just refuse to get rid of…..but they show a little too much on the top of your jeans or the bottom of your shir, Blush has come to your rescue.

Blush Accessories welcomes you to a product that helps adjust the clothes you already have to fit you perfectly. This is a shirt that is to be worn like a tube top, but around the waist. Our product is made of a poly/rayon/spandex blend, allowing a huge amount of stretch and great support.

FOR EVERYONE If you love the look of layering without adding the extra bulk and straps, this is a product for you. Unlike a tank top or long shirt, it does not have straps which cause your undershirt to constantly ride up. It stays put without having to always readjust. Without straps, you are not limited to where the length of your shirt falls. You can adjust to any length, whether you want it to go just over the top of your pants or all the way down to your thigh. For all your favorite shirts that have shrunk in the dryer….don’t throw them away! Just add a {topless undershirt} and you still have the length of the shirt you bought it as.

FOR MATERNITY As our bodies change, it is nice to have an accessory the helps our clothes adapt to our ever-changing shape. Keep the wardrobe you already have and use the {topless undershirt} to help cover your belly as your shirts start to ride up. If you are at the stage where you are unbuttoning the top of your pants, use the undershirt single layered or doubled over to help hold them up and hide your exposure! This way you can wear the jeans you already have before having to wear maternity ones. If you are planning to nurse, continue to wear the undershirt so you can lift your shirt without exposing your tummy and back. This product helps add extra support and add a variety of outfits to your wardrobe.

What you can win: A topless undershirt by Blush! Blush has let us know that if we have 200 people enter this giveaway, they will give us THREE to giveaway to THREE winners. So we need you to spread the word…copy and paste this out to your blog!

The crazy mommy bloggers over at MomDot blog, are hosting a contest to make the world a better place and to fight muffintop. Please come over and enter to win an amazing giveaway from Blush, where you can keep or pass along an awesome topless undershirt. They need 200 entries to get more shirts to give away, so come enter this worthwhile fashion cause. And while you are there, dont forget about the other awesome giveaways and new chat room.

Contest ends: Monday the 25th

I had to laugh so hard at the grocery store when I saw a lady who seriously needed this. She was wearing a tank top that looked too small for her anyways, and pants that obviously too small and has about 2 inches on each side hanging out over the top of her jeans. I wanted to take a picture and send it in, but my camera on my phone sucks! (Granted she did have a little baby with her, so she had to have given birth a few months ago, but really- don’t try to squeeze into your pre-pregnancy clothes if you haven’t lost the weight yet!)

This would be great. I always wear a tank top under my shirts, but that is hard with nursing – this looks like my answer!

What a great idea! One thing that always bugs me about my cami tops is that 1.) you get the extra straps and lines showing through on the top. And 2.) they are always riding up. Either they’re too low on top, or too high on the bottom.
