My Kitchen is getting an upgrade

Four years ago when we moved into this spec home, there wasn’t any choice on the appliances. We took the house as is and the appliances rally were not that bad, but there were definitely builder grade without the “certain something”. It’s like having the lowest model based car.

It will get you there….but not in style.

So the last year I have been concentrating on upgrading some of my home including a new kitchen table, Charlotte’s dresser,

new floors and a rug,

and of course Little P’s Beach Nursery.

I am so excited to announce that myself, along with a team of other amazing influential online bloggers, will be testing out a full line of kitchen appliances for Maytag.

To say that I could use an upgrade is an understatement.

Somewhere around the time I was PG with Phoenyx, my friend Lynsey came over and with her superhuman strength managed to rip off my microwave handle. It has remained gone ever since.

The dishwasher is …well….eh.

The stove works fine, but the drawer will never stay on the track. My fridge is about the only piece in my kitchen that is great, but we bought that (or rather my dad did for us) after we moved in. It isn’t builder grade. However…it was the floor model and came with a few imperfections already.  Not to mention that I wish I had an “in the door” ice maker.

If you are a Maytag mom, please leave your blog link in the linky so I can share with my visitors and we can connect all our different point of views on this kitchen set.

For everyone else…squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love home improvement.

Because home improvement = life improvement = happy mommy.

I wrote this post participating in an Maytag Moms Dependable Kitchen Ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Maytag. I was provided with a Maytag kitchen appliances set, including a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and range to facilitate my post.

Hi, y'all! If you got this far, awesome . I am assuming you want to know more about me. I am a *cough* 36 year old mom of 2 great kids, 6 rescue animals and proud wife of my high school sweetheart. This blog is my outlet and allows me to pretend I am a kid at heart. I get to play with glitter and glue, eat lots of sweets (its for the blog, I swear!) and connect with readers and friends. As a blogger I love to share with you- so the rundown is that I am currently reading this, using these for calmer bedtimes, giving away this, and suggesting here if you ever wanted to be a blogger yourself.
