My one complaint about the Toro stroller (review)

Is where were you my entire life??!?!?!?

I have to admit I jumped for joy when it arrived. If you remember (or dont) we tragically lost our stroller in SpiderGate2008, when it became infested with brown widows. So when Toro strollers let us test one out along with our contest, it was a yes, yes, yes from our end.

I waited for my DH to come home. I don’t suck putting things together, but I would rather he do it. Translation= his fault if it breaks. When he walked in, he was all “oooooooh, whats that” also (probably secretly hoping the Micralite box was a disguise for a Playstation 3). He faithfully put it together with very few cuss words, which says a lot for the ingenuity and easy design of the stroller. Generally, his conversations with putting something together start and end with “They forget to put the X screw, X nails, such and such part in the box” which translates to “I lost it while putting it together, can you help me find it“. I only had to rescue him once in finding the pump part for the wheels (inside the pump itself…as noted by the sticker on it). What can I say, atleast I was needed.

After it was together, we took it outside. Charlotte was excited. She LOVES strollers. I haven’t figured out if its because she hates to walk or just the idea of being pushed; probably a bit of both really. At her age, a stroller isn’t a necessity, but its a wonderful accessory for zoo visits, trips to Disney, and even evening walks where you don’t want a 3 year old potentially not being seen by a car at night.

Of course, I have the worlds largest 3 year old. I mean..she is like 40 inches and 40 pounds. I know you think she is adopted considering I am 100 pounds and 5′1″, but I swear, she is mine.

Here is what the Haas family thought about it.

-Gorgeous modern design, not too fru-fru. Your Dh will not be upset about pushing this stroller. It wont steal his manhood and is easily interchangable no matter if you have a boy, girl, or both.

-It converts to a buggy and a travel system. So room to grow from newborn to brat older child!

-It handles well (see video), even if your DH cant drive

- Its very safe, including a 5 point harness and a rollbar. Yep, just like a convertible. If this baby falls over (if you are screwing around like we were up in that video), your child isnt going to go with it.

-It has a ton of accessories. From the included wheel pump, to a cover that keeps your baby dry in the rain, a vinyl cover to stay in the shade, or  a foot/body cover to keep warm in the winter, there isn’t a need to run out for “extras”. (Charlotte demonstrating via the fake sleep)

Overall, this stroller is beyond top notch. From looks, to function, to ability to go through about 4 years of a child’s life, its not only a keeper, but a hand me down worthy of receiving.

Whomever wins this stroller, is going to L-O-V-E it, and whoever doesn’t, I suggest it going on your baby registry. Or Christmas registry. Or maybe sucking up a bit to your DH by promising a stroller worth the Daytona Stroller 500.

your hubby is funny and Charlotte is just too adorable. I am loving this stroller! Hope I win :D Do the handles reverse so the child can look at you? I didn’t see it on the site but sometimes they don’t list that feature.
