I would definitely see a doc just to be sure! I hope it’s nothing serious ((hugs))

And now that you mentioned it I should check this out LOL I’m so bad at checking…just one of the things I never think about, like most women!

  2. It is likely fibrocystic breast disease or a cyst. Those things change with your hormones. Go see a doc, I’m sure it’s nothing major.

  3. I wonder how many are going to watch this just to see you feel your boobs a hundred times, lmao.

Go see a doc Trisha! A boobies get cancer too. BUT, I’ve also heard that it usually doesn’t hurt if cancer.

    Keep us posted!! xoxoxoxox

  4. Anne says:

I had a friend whose brother was/is a doctor and she always said that if it hurts it’s a good thing. It’s when it doesn’t hurt that you should worry. So here’s to it being a ‘no worry’ scenario! Oh, and I have yet to find a doctor and we’ve lived here [in rural squat and pee VA] for 7 years. I should probably do that one of these days.

  5. Keonte' says:

I check all the time. I have a lot of fatty tissue. The doctor says not to worry, but to keep it in mind when doing a check.

It’s great that you are talking about this. So many woman ignore their bodies.

Love the ‘maximum exposure’ at 2:07. Got my fix for the day. LOL

    Keeping you in mind!

  6. Stefanie says:

It could be something like Fiberocystic Disease (I totally spelled that wrong). That’s when you have small lumps in your breasts that are not cancer related but can enlarge when it comes time for your period, stay the size of little balls or marbles OR get larger when you’re pg. I have it so I know how it feels…mine are always sore. I’m glad that you’re going to call a doctor though and get checked out. Keep us posted!

  7. Stefanie says:

My doctor told me to look out for lumps that feel like pebbles.

  8. Tasha says:

Yep, after I turned 30 all hell broke loose! I feel your pain. I have the same boob problem and it does definitely get more painful right before your period and staying away from caffeine helps. I’ve seen specialists and had ultrasounds and mammograms only to be told to stop eating so much chocolate and drinking coffee! Getting old sucks! Hope everything turns out ok!

  9. Jennifer says:

Fingers crossed for you, Trisha. Also What a good reminder for the rest of us to never takes things for granted – time to schedule a checkup!

  10. Tammy says:

I hope that things are okay with your boob. Let us know what your Doctor tells you. I went to my Dr in May and she found a lump on one of my boobs and I had to go through my first mammogram and boob ultrasound. Everything turned out okay for now but I have another mammogram in December to just be sure. That was the last thing I expected when I went in for my yearly exam. I am now checking my boobs all the time. lol

  11. CLAIRE says:

((staring inside my own shirt, poking at boobs))

Check that out mama!!! ((((hugs)))) We’ll be watching your boob too!!!! hehe

How true though, getting older. I wake up nauseated, etc & always thinking “ohnobaby” dude.. I’m just getting old. Eugh.

But great awareness message!!! Feel the boobies ladies!

  12. Chelle says:

I’ll definitely be thinking of you! When I went in for my 6 week post partum c/u my doc told me that I had “lumpy boobs”. Wow..thanks! Haha :)

However, I did have an u/s done on them like 5 or 6 years ago because of it…and everything was okay :) Well, except for the fact of the lumpy boobs. Haha!

And I so agree with you about the turning 30 thing!! I just turned 30 a few months ago and seriously I feel like things that I could do a year ago just wrecks havoc on my body now :)

Thinking of you and keep us posted, hon!

  13. Hey Trisha!

I am one of the worst at doing monthly breast self exams, but I do do them every once in a while. But, it does freak you out when something is not quite right.

I get bumps or little lump like things right under my breasts where you seem to be “feeling yourself up” at. They start out under the skin and are sore and then begin to come to the skin as like a cyst like thing. I hear that it’s pretty common. So, hopefully that’s all it is for you or it’s just one of those monthly changes our breasts go through.

Whatever the case, good for you for going to get it checked and not ignoring it. You’ll sleep much better after you do!

  14. Kimberly says:

WOW! You handle it a lot better then I would.

I just wrote about my boob hurting for the past two weeks and how I FINALLY got up the nerve to see the doc. I thought the same thing, how cruel it would be to have some thing “wrong” with my boob during breast cancer awareness month.

Read my post. I honestly think you have the same thing I was just diagnosed with. It does cause lumps and bumps that move. You might have the same thing. If you do cut down on the coffee and take Vitamin E.

    GOOD LUCK! Keep us posted.

PS…you probably made many men VERY happy with this Vlog. Ha Ha.

  15. Leane says:

I don’t think you touch your boobs enough in this vid! More boobie touching is called for!
I went through this about 4 years ago. Mine turned out to be a harmless lump that my body re-absorbed (I was told), and Thank God!
It could be fibrous lump and if you go to your doctor, he/she will probably refer you to the MRI/XRay center. You can go to one of those centers without a referral, I think…..I know you can call and ask and XRay center and ask what the policy might be. It could save you an additional doctor expense, if you go straight to XRay center….just a thought. I hope your boobies are well and fine! I can’t wait to hear/watch more BoobieTV! LOL

  16. Annie says:

Great video! I love your honesty! I sure hope that it is nothing major and I’ll be waiting for the answer :)

  17. Courtney says:

Yes I did feel myself up after this.. makes me nervous. I think your supposed to every time your in the shower.. I forgot. lol Good luck and hopefully it’s nothing!

  18. Sheila says:

Thanks for the reminder. I hope there is nothing wrong and it is just is a period thing.

  19. Matt says:

Trish, I’m praying that it’s nothing major. I turn 30 tomorrow (actually in about 30 minutes) and wonder what’s going to fall apart first. I love that you are able to find a little humor in the whole thing!

  20. Cat says:

That’s always a great reminder. I’m terrible about checking for lumps and what not, hanging out in the “B” club I tend to ignore them more than anything…but you inspired me to give my boobies a feel. lol

Definitely get that checked out Trisha!
