Natural Pod, Natural Tree Blocks Review

Moms are always looking for safe, healthy, and fun toys for their kids. With recent toxic scares, the rise in Eco-friendly toys have gone up and we wanted to share with you one worth taking a second look at.

We received our Natural Pod Natural Tree Branch Blocks yesterday and the first thing that stood out to me was that they came in a natural cotton bag. What an adorable, fun way to package the blocks and keep them all together in the play room. No plastic, no cardboard, just a sweet little sack.

But what I didn’t tell you, is that these blocks are not normal blocks. They are TREE blocks. They come in a variety of shapes; each unique in its own dimensions and shapes, and provide real creative play. In thin, thick, long, and short pieces, the blocks were fun the moment the bag dumped.

The good:

  • This product was fun! Its simply different and unlike any “blocks” set out there
  • Kids love outdoor stuff! Bringing the trees INDOORS, peaked charlotte’s curiosity
  • The tree blocks can be used for other play ideas. Charlotte quickly found a way to use it with her my little ponies
  • It provides a way to use imagination by challenging how to stack the different pieces
  • provides fun for ADULTS too

The other

  • There are not “too” many blocks, so I would recommend another set for truly fun play
  • Because they are all such random shapes, it takes a little bit of creativity to stack. I would say 4 and up to really get the hang of it.

About the company Natural Pod:

Natural Pod began out of our own desire to have beautiful, open-ended, natural toys for our children and a way to discover what is new and interesting in the world. And, of course, we derive some joy from finding just the right gift for someone, or for ourselves

As parents we found it increasingly difficult to find quality natural play items that supported creative and imaginative play. During our search, we soon realized that many parents shared our passion. We hope to encourage more families to discover the benefits of natural toys and rediscover a true sense of play. These items can become an heirloom, passed down from one generation to the next.

Thank you for visiting Natural Pod. Where you will find natural items for play and daily living that are mindful, creative and inviting for your family. (side note, they have a BLOG!)

Natural Pod also has some really great other natural toys, but the one that stands out to me most is this natural chefs kitchen. Its completely classic, totally adorable, and very safe.

Natural Pod would love to hear from you and they are BLOGGERS as well, so head on over to their blog to pass on some love and let this MomPreneur know what you think!

I have to admit that at first I thought…”that’s weird” but the more I saw Charlotte playing with them and the more it sunk in, they really are cool and brilliant. Not only for their creative possibilities but for their green-ness.

I cleaned Jake’s room today and threw about about 4 or 5 BIG PLASTIC PIECES OF JUNK toys that were not together enough or not broken enough to pass down to Abby or give away elsewhere. More garbage. The Natural Tree Blocks will be so much nicer to the environment if they outlive their usefulness (only Mr. Miaggi could break them).

    Those are SO COOL!
I would give away all the stupid plastic toys in my kids playroom for a couple of bags of those blocks. We’re always complaining that the kids have too many toys. LOVE the simplicity.
