How many times do your little ones get out of bed at night? Lily runs a whole gamut of excuses just about every night including, but not limited to:
“I have to potty.”
“I need a drink of water.”
“I need a Kleenex.”
“I have to potty AGAIN.”
“I need another hug and kiss.”
But, I think the excuse I dread the most because it is the hardest to fix is:
“I think I have monsters in my room!”
We have spent countless nights checking under her bed, in her closet, behind the curtains and in her dresser drawers. Inevitably, as soon as we get her settled again, she gets out of bed ONE MORE TIME because, “You forgot to check under the covers!” ACK!
Sound familiar? Starting tonight, I have the solution for you! Tell your toddler that they do not have to fear monsters anymore…..the NightSprytes are here!!
NightSprytes are dreamguides that “brighten up bedtime and sweeten up dreams.” All they ask in return is some love and affection in exchange for tons of monster protection! These adorable creatures created by David and Seth Bier provide a Monster-Free room….guaranteed!
They were nice enough to send Lily and Aubrie their very own NightSpryte, Rollo! The girls both had a wonderful first impression of the soft plush doll. Rollo is adorable and definitely something they could cuddle with in bed. The doll comes with a “Monster Manual” which is a hardcover book entitled, “Bedtime with Rollo the NightSpryte.“
The book is very well written and beautifully illustrated! My husband read the book to both girls tonight and they both sat still and enjoyed it very much! Lily insisted they hold Rollo while the book was read (well, Aubrie mostly chewed on hers! LOL! ).
As a parent, a few things were quite impressive about this project. First of all, there is a parent section on the website with all kinds of great information on childhood fears. Secondly, the amount of research that went it to developing the toy and book is incredible! Finally, this toy has been tested thoroughly to ensure that it is safe for ALL ages.
And to top it all off, David and Seth donated 5 toy and book sets to Bloggers Give! We love them! Want to see a Rollo the NightSpryte in action? Check out this NightSpryte YouTube video!

My baby may be a little young to appreciate this but, he seems to already have bad dreams. I imagine that, like almost every child, he will think monsters are going to get him. It would be nice to have the nightsprytes handy!
Aw, my page wont load to do the extra entries right now =(
My 2.5 year old is waking up every night screaming hysterically & calling for me. I co-sleep with my 9 month old, so Dad is sleeping with him in his room for now, but the last week has been BAD. He tells me “I scared of the dark” and in the day time he says.. “Sometimes..I get scared..” and tells me about monsters & ghosts (Thank Thomas the Train ghost story @@) We’re getting ready to implement a new “time time method” in hopes ALL of us could get better sleep & this would be perfect to help him get over his fears.
