Nominations and Veto #3 Last one today

Wow, what a day its been, right? I wanted to end this game in a week, so that is why its going so quick. Its been pretty fun!

Recap:
Eliminated Bloggers so far: Mia, Colleen and Brandie

Current HOH: Stacey

ON THE BLOCK

Veto Competition:

As a blogger you should have a video camera, flip, or webcam. If you do NOT, you may partner with someone who does if you can find someone to work on your behalf in the competition. Please note that if you DO need a partner, only ONE of you  may win the veto. Basically, someone would have to play FOR you, but would be vulnerable themselves. This could be a good way for someone that feels really safe to gain an alliance member.

This Veto is VERY SPECIAL. The person who wins the Veto can either choose to pull someone off the block OR they can keep it to use any time they want in the game all the way down to 10 bloggers left (then its use or lose).

Its a Veto FREE PASS that you can file and save for a crucial point in the game.

Get out your cameras………..to win the veto the person with the FASTEST TIME WINS. We want you to as fast as you can put on the following items and video tape yourself doing it:

  • 6 shirts
  • 6 pairs of socks
  • 1 pair of shoes/heels/
  • 1 skirt
  • 2 jackets/coats
  • atleast 3 accessories (hat, scarf, gloves, etc)

Once you have your video, upload it to either photobucket or youtube and EMAIL the code to me at trisha@momdot.com . You have till 9:30am central time tomorrow morning to send me the videos. DO NOT post the links here because then someone will know the time to beat. I will post ALL videos tomorrow and announce the winner. If you are late in turning in the video, you cannot send it in afterwards.

9:30am SHARP.

I managed to get everything together besides a skirt. We’re away from home with my husband while he’s working a contract and I didn’t bring a skirt. My daughter doesn’t have one and none of her dolls do either! I see trouble in my future, Sarah already said she’s coming to get me.

@ Colleen – Mommy Always Wins: It is nuts! I’m telling you, if you’re not glued to the screen 24/7 and constantly refreshing (hence the rise in traffic, Trisha…LOL) you miss everything! I’m just glad this challenge wasn’t a first read, first win this time. Hopefully if you’re not brought back you’ll be in the running for the second “season.” ;)

    Do Crocs count as shoes?

  6. I am most certainly the LAMEST reality blog contestant EVER. Three minutes ago I saw I was chosen for the game, and in 90 seconds, see I was booted off.

Now, if anyone wants to be like ol’ what his name from this last season of the bachelor and ACK! choose to bring me back after kicking me off, well…you know where I live. ;-)

    @ Emily:
OH I can’t wait to see it!

  8. Dore says:

This is gonna be sooo much fun! I’m gonna try it out after I get my little man in the bed. Thank goodness hubby is not home right now. He would think i was INSANE!! LMAO!

  9. Emily says:

@ Victoria Arya: ROTFL! As I was taking off all six shirts my husband was like, “I kind of like this!” And I looked like a makeup-free version of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and pretty much needed another shower after sweating so much!

  10. Emily says:

Just finished mine with DH’s help–couldn’t believe he actually got into it enough to give me pointers! I had two of my four kids (ages 3 and 1 1/2) “helping” me so I doubt I have the fastest time, but it was so fun!

You’ll notice I had two pairs of shoes within reach since my DD kept running off with one pair! LOL (BTW, that’s a great pointer for those of you with little ones nearby! LOL) This challenge also gave my 11-year-old DD a chance to play videographer with the Flip! Thanks, Trisha–this was awesome and I can’t wait to see everyone’s videos! ;)

  11. I did it. We will ignore the fact that I look like a stuffed hotdog and that my face is all shiny from no makeup, and that my feet looked like nadia sulemans when she was preggo with her 8 babies. But I did it.

On another note, hubby thought I was doing something naughty when I grabbed my video camera and headed off to our room and shut the door.

  12. @ Trisha-admin:
    lol

I will work on this tonight for sure! I have everything but the socks ready and I think i can kick booty on how fast I do it…my husband will think I am a loon!

  13. Gena says:

    LOL I’d help if I could. :)

  17. @ Sarah- Ohana Mama:
I can do everything else tho. Shoots.

Anyone wanna team up with me to get me off the block? I’ll get ya back in future rounds.

  18. I don’t even own 6 pairs of sox…damn!

  19. Liz says:

This is a good one!!! I’m going to have to do it when DH isn’t around (what he doesn’t know…)

  20. Gena says:

Trisha is going to be laughing her butt off all night!
