Now, if i havent convinced you to move here to Theodore, Al yet and hang out with me, I was going to try this. Its such a safe community…lots of police and loving people…….a top of the line fire station.
Yes. This is really my local fire station.

Umm yeah, where the heck is the rest of it? LOL
Cat @ 3KidsnUs’s last blog post..You’ll shoot your eye out!
I’ve seen it! We visit FIL’s condo on Dauphin Island a few times a year and always stop at Tillman’s Corner’s Walmart. I got a little lost one time and saw this very fire station. Interestingly enough, the little community where I live has the same type fire station.
That’s cause it’s a Volunteer Fire Department.
Oh, southern humor…you can’t beat it!
Is there even a fire truck in it? It doesn’t even look big enough for one. I hate to ask, but what does the police station look like? A doughnut shop?
My Big Bro lives in Huntsville, AL.
My family has southern roots even though I live (and was raised) in SoCal.
My dad was from Newport News, VA & my Mom was born in Snow Hill, NC.
Oh, and we’re Irish.
So exactly how far over yonder is that there fire station from you? Is it just down the road a piece?
Well, I gotta go tend to my young’un. I swear I would lose my head if it wasn’t attached to my body. Or is it if I had any brains, I’d play with them?
(I speak fluent southern)
Sorry for my failed attempt at humor. And yes, for your information, I am half crazy!
At least there’s TWO! I wonder if there’s anymore…
well, i burned myhouse down LAST christmas, so i wont be doing it this year. right?
This absolutely cracks me up! We have 3 that within 4 miles of our house that we deliver cookies to every year. They have full lounges, kitchens huge heated double bays, and a minimum of 3 trucks each. Even our volunteer department in my home town had double bays and 2 trucks! Guess you won’t be deep frying anything any time soon!
I have never seen another one, thats what scares me. LOL
yikes! remember to use salt in a kitchen fire!!!
LOL Our “House 2″ and “House 3″ are like that, but with two doors instead of one.
Wow. At least it’s number 2. As in, there’s another one somewhere? Maybe a little bigger and technologically advanced? Maybe one with working telephone lines and running water for the pumper trucks? Wait. There’s only one bay. I’m guessing there’s not a pumper truck.
I’d stock up on fire extinguishers if I were you.
