UPDATE: I have 50, so I think that’s enough to keep her busy next year. I’m closing this opp off and getting the list together to send over. Thank you to all the bloggers.
——————————————————————————————–
A vacation home in Orlando for a week.
I normally do not post my opps on my blog, but this is so specific I am putting it out to everyone as the quickest way.
I am working with an Orlando Vacation Rental company that has 250 vacation homes from 2 bedrooms to 8 bedrooms in the Orlando area. They are very excited to work with mom bloggers by providing them a complimentary stay in one of their homes during their vacation.
They want to spread the word on how wonderful it is to stay in a home versus cramming your family in a hotel and I have to agree. Every time DH and I go to Orlando we ALWAYS stay in a vacation home or condo. One time we rented a home so large both of our extended families stayed with us. Its so nice to come back and have your own room, your kids have their own room, your mother in law has her own room and one of their subdivisions is only 1.5 miles from Disney Main Gate!
I know some of you are going to the Disney Mom Blogger in Feb (its feb, right? Not sure, I was left OFF the list) and they would love to work with a few on their way down and provide you with a stay for your family.
This may also be a fun “girls trip” if some bloggers want to get together!
Some of their divisions boast these for amenities:
- 2 bedroom condos, 2 & 3 bedroom townhomes, 3 to 6 bedroom homes
- Homes have private screened swimming pool and spa
- Master suite with king or queen size bed and TV
- Master bathroom with garden tub and separate shower
- Fully equipped kitchens with breakfast area and formal dining area
- One or two living areas with TV, VCR or DVD player (children’s DVD’s)
- Washer and dryer
- Homes available with game rooms that include billiards, table tennis and air hockey
- Homes available with play stations for kids
Also, if you have an upcoming vacation to the Orlando area at any point next year, I would also love to put you in touch with this company to work out something. There is no implication of “positive” reviews, but just to provide an opportunity to experience a new type of vacation and hopefully pass back on to your readers what you thought.
They are also interested in brand awareness on twitter.
Affiliate codes available for your articles.
If you are interested, please leave your blog link, contact email, and if you are in the area or traveling to that area in the comments (especially if you are going soon) and I will create a list and pass on to her on Monday to be in contact with. If you do not put the info down, I wont go looking for it. So follow directions.
I would also apprieciate a little tweet on this if you don’t mind. It helps other mom blogs find this great opp!

*your travel expenses if you are out of the area are not included, just the complimentary home stay

Wow, that looks amazing! We’re actually going to Orlando this Spring Break. At the end of March. I’d love to hear more!

My husband and I have been talking about Traveling in 2010 and this sounds like a wonderful opportunity. I’m not sure on the exact dates of travel as he will need to put in vacation at work prior to making travel arrangements. I have never been to Florida before but it sounds lovely. Please consider me for this opportunity.
Thanks!

How cool! We live in Florida and would love to return to the Orlando area. Because it’s in driving distance our schedule is fairly flexible. We’ve never stayed in a vacation home so this would be a great opportunity to see what it’s all about (and compare it to staying in a moderate resort at Disney).

Thanks for sharing this opportunity, Trisha.
Trisha, it’s so generous of you to share like this. My blog is http://www.champagneliving.net and http://www.thereviewbroads.com
This would be a great drive to vacation. It’s between 2-3 hours away.

Looks really nice. Just left there Thanksgiving. Going back down in April or so….There is nothing like taking a vacation in one of those spots and having the kids stay in their own room for a fraction of the price you would pay to be IN THE SAME ROOM with them at a hotel. Hit the local Publix’z/Walmart/store of your choice, get some food and you are set! Never mind the things they usually have at resort’s like this.
This is such an awesome opportunity. Thank you. We are not currently planning a trip to Disney but if we had complimenatry accommodations we might be able to afford to go in 2010. I would love to be considered. Thanks again

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! My husband and I have been dreaming of going back to Disney. It’s been 7 years since we’ve been there and have been dying to go back. This would be the incentive that we need to go.

I’m in NY but we would like to travel to Orlando in 2010.
Thanks Trisha!!!!
Oops! I should have added that I have children. I don’t want you to think I just meant me and my husband. We were talking about going because we want to take the kids back. They were 3 and 5 when we went the last time and we have been talking about going back now that they are older and can appreciate things differently.
Sorry for any confusion.

We’ve been thinking about heading south for a summer or fall trip to Disney in 2010. What a great fit this would be for us. Please count me in!

Trisha,
We’d love to take a vacation down to Orlando in 2010. I’d also love to be able to take the grandparents with our family as my parents have been through hell and back this year, so it would be nice to go for a week or so to Orlando with the kids, we’ve been contimplating it as hubby has 3 weeks vacation in 2010 and me and him wanted to hit up Universal Studios to take in a TNA wrestling show, this would be a dream to do and would help us out tremendously. I’m open for dates probably June – end of August would be my best guess.

Thanks for passing on this opportunity to your readers, with my father being in the hospital for heart surgery this week I haven’t been blogging or online much at all, glad I saw this when I hopped on for a few.
THanks.
Trisha-
I soooo need this! We are planning on going from April 2-April 9 2010 to Disney and we are having quite a few people with us. Like 8-12 potentially.

What a fabulous opportunity! We were hoping to take our children to Orlando in 2010. Traveling from KY, this would certainly make the trip more doable, and also more pleasant as we would have more room to “stretch out” as opposed to a small hotel room.
This would be a perfect fit for my DEAL blog
I also live in Jacksonville, FL so it is only 2.5 hrs away . So we can be flexible with our dates and just drive there.
So, maybe you’d want to fill up a week that is left open by other bloggers already planning to travel . I’m flexible.
We have been thinking about this for our late summer trip… My husband and I both visited Disney as kids and would like to give our kids the same fun memories we have. We LOVE to stay in homes rather than hotel rooms for the very reasons you listed. I absolutely do not feel on vacation if my kids sleep in the same room. : )
