UPDATE: I have 50, so I think that’s enough to keep her busy next year. I’m closing this opp off and getting the list together to send over. Thank you to all the bloggers.
——————————————————————————————–
A vacation home in Orlando for a week.
I normally do not post my opps on my blog, but this is so specific I am putting it out to everyone as the quickest way.
I am working with an Orlando Vacation Rental company that has 250 vacation homes from 2 bedrooms to 8 bedrooms in the Orlando area. They are very excited to work with mom bloggers by providing them a complimentary stay in one of their homes during their vacation.
They want to spread the word on how wonderful it is to stay in a home versus cramming your family in a hotel and I have to agree. Every time DH and I go to Orlando we ALWAYS stay in a vacation home or condo. One time we rented a home so large both of our extended families stayed with us. Its so nice to come back and have your own room, your kids have their own room, your mother in law has her own room and one of their subdivisions is only 1.5 miles from Disney Main Gate!
I know some of you are going to the Disney Mom Blogger in Feb (its feb, right? Not sure, I was left OFF the list) and they would love to work with a few on their way down and provide you with a stay for your family.
This may also be a fun “girls trip” if some bloggers want to get together!
Some of their divisions boast these for amenities:
- 2 bedroom condos, 2 & 3 bedroom townhomes, 3 to 6 bedroom homes
- Homes have private screened swimming pool and spa
- Master suite with king or queen size bed and TV
- Master bathroom with garden tub and separate shower
- Fully equipped kitchens with breakfast area and formal dining area
- One or two living areas with TV, VCR or DVD player (children’s DVD’s)
- Washer and dryer
- Homes available with game rooms that include billiards, table tennis and air hockey
- Homes available with play stations for kids
Also, if you have an upcoming vacation to the Orlando area at any point next year, I would also love to put you in touch with this company to work out something. There is no implication of “positive” reviews, but just to provide an opportunity to experience a new type of vacation and hopefully pass back on to your readers what you thought.
They are also interested in brand awareness on twitter.
Affiliate codes available for your articles.
If you are interested, please leave your blog link, contact email, and if you are in the area or traveling to that area in the comments (especially if you are going soon) and I will create a list and pass on to her on Monday to be in contact with. If you do not put the info down, I wont go looking for it. So follow directions.
I would also apprieciate a little tweet on this if you don’t mind. It helps other mom blogs find this great opp!

*your travel expenses if you are out of the area are not included, just the complimentary home stay

I am so jealous that I missed this. We go to Florida three or four times per year.
Oh, and I have a small family but we’re all adults so we might lend a different kind of review – how a group of adults can enjoy Disney, ’cause we do!
If an opening should occur, I can fly any time with very little notice and I SO NEED A VACATION!
I get flying perks because my son works for an airline but I have no where to go. I’d LOVE to go and check out some place new.
Thanks for letting me dream, even if I wasn’t fast enough to get in, maybe someone will need a last minute replacement

Ahh sorry, I didnt leave my email just incase you might have some opprtunities next year.

Thanks again Trisha!
I would love the opportunity to go to Florida and take my kids to Disney. We are planning on going next year. I would love to have had a chance to get on the list.
I’m way late, so I won’t leave my info- just wanted to say that you are so awesome to share this, Trisha!! How awesome!!!
I’d love to be in touch with this company as my inlaws spend the entire month in Florida every February and are always looking for a good rental company to work with. We will be headed down this February as well so if you could pass along their info, that would be great. We can check them out when we’re down there.
Thanks!
Gina
We are actually trying to plan a vacation to FL/Disney for next year. This would be a HUGE help in that respect. I have never been to Disney World (I live in SoCal where the original DisneyLand is) and really want to take the family. Plus my Big Bro can drive there from Alabama so he could go too.

I’m so sad that I missed this opportunity. You just showed up in my Google Reader and I clicked over here right away
My husband and I planning on taking our two kiddos to Disney sometime this coming spring. We have been playing around with the details because of finances. Do we drive and waste 2 whole days in the car? Do we fly and spend more but save time? Do we only do 2 days in Disney then travel to the coast? My kids are 5 and 2 and are massively in love with Princesses and Micky Mouse
Sorry that I missed out but if you need one more entry, please consider me ;o)

I know it’s closed, but just in case others can’t come through, I’m leaving my info. I so need this with the terrible year we’ve had!

I live just south of Orlando (on the Treasure Coast) so visiting ANYTIME would be great. I haven’t been to Orlando in a YEAR (I know, it’s sad…living so close), so we’d love to be able to go up in the next four months. I also do travel writing for the Examiner if they’re looking for more publicity (I’m the West Palm Beach Budget Travel writer).
I would love to be able to take Haley down on Spring Break. April 12 th to 16th.

This sounds like the perfect solution for our family. We have 3 month old twins and a 2 year old and are hoping to go to Orlando this year so our 2 year old can enjoy Disney. We would like to take the grandparents as well to help with the little ones and this would be a great opportunity!

We are hoping to go to Orlando in 2010, 2 parents 3 kids and one grandpa!last time we went 9 years ago we crammed 4 of us in one room and it wasn’t all that fun!

Thanks Trisha!
Well, durn…I JUST tweeted about my need for the beach this a.m., and then I see this! Of course, Orlando isn’t THE beach but it’s close enough to split some time both places. I’ve been traveling to the Orlando area since I was little to visit my aunt; would love to sample a place other than her home.
If it’s of interest to your contact, we have two teens and a tween and I’m wagering they’d love the proximity to the amenities you mentioned. My daughter has become close to a German exchange student this year, and how cool would it be to treat her to a FL vacation before she returns home??? Very!
Best time for travel since our kids are in school: Spring Break (end of March this year, I think) or after Memorial Day.

Thanks for sharing the info; I’m more than happy to share a head’s up on Twitter for ya

Hello! I would love to do this. Our family who live in Virginia, Oregon, and Colorado, are planning to spend Thanksgiving 2010 in Orlando. This would be perfect – 6 adults, 5 kids, all under 8. Thanks for the opportunity, and happy new year!
That would be great for us. My father is a fool for Disney–it’s one of the only places he ever wants to go. We took our daughter last April but only got to be at Disney for one day (and I was pregnant and missed out on some things) so we’d love to go back this year. We love condos/houses because they provide not only privacy but also a kitchen. Eating fast food for a week because you’re living out of a hotel is pretty miserable, and cooking meals saves money. Anyway, we wanted to go again and weren’t sure if we’d be able to, but this would make it possible for us. We’re flexible on dates since my husband is the only one who has to get off work, but midwinter – spring would probably be best. My 2.5-year-old daughter and sixty-something dad would be equally excited

Hi Trisha. This is great. We like to go down to Fl in the spring to visit my sister and her family. tammy@learningfelt.com http://www.autismlearningfelt.com
Hi Trisha,
I’d love to look into this because if they have water slides and such my kids would go crazy for it, even if we do live 30 minutes down the road.
