My House (in pictures!)

We have been talking around here about sharing pictures of our homes, so I thought I would kick it off. Here is my house! Don’t be fooled about how clean it is right now.

The pictures are missing one bedroom, my office (which is a disaster!) a half bath, and the laundry room.  Rest assured you will be seeing my laundry room as soon as my new washer dryer arrives!

I need to get a picture of the outside as well and will update that shortly.

Did I mention we are selling? We are wanting to move back to Florida with our family so the house is officially going on the market soon. My house is 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, and 2 living rooms. I also have a major walk in closet, but that is so beyond messy right now even I am embarrassed to go into it.

I actually love my home, but we want to raise Charlotte near her grandparents. Since DH’s work gave him permission to move states, we are going to high tail it out of here as fast as we can!

Looks like a model home! My Supermom cape must have a hole in it, while yours is brand spanking new, b/c I don’t know how you’re cleaning, blogging, mothering, wifing, etc.
Hope it sells quickly and effortlessly. We live near my parents, and I can’t imagine raising our daughters far away from them. Plus, I still need to get spoiled by someone other than my husband. I am, afterall, the original princess in the house.

Your house is beautiful. I love the mural. Good for you guys for moving to be near family. My mom lives with me us, my dad is 15 miles away and my sister is 10 miles away. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Trisha your house looks awesome! You should have NO problem selling it. The colors are great but still neutral and it looks very clean and spacious. The decor is really nice as well. Looks like you have a knack for decorating too :)

We sold our house last year and had to “stage” it so it wouldn’t look so cluttered. We had to rent a storage unit so we could clear out all of our crap to make the place look bigger. I bet when you finally put yours on the market it will sell in no time!

Love the mural and the wide open spaces. I’ve been trying to move for years. Stinking economy.

    Trisha,

You’re killing me! How do you do everything you do and have a house that is as orderly and clean as yours? Please tell me that you cleaned each room, took a picture, and then everything went back to NORMAL.

Your house looks great! I’m a kitchen girl and love the counter space you have. May I have your sleigh bed (that sounds weird – the frame)? Shades of purple are my favorite (specifically lilac) and I love the way you decorated Charlotte’s bedroom.

I hope the selling process goes well for you. I understand wanting to live closer to family. We just moved away from my parents :( , but closer to my husband’s parents. Our children are getting to know each side well, but it would be great if everyone lived in the same state.

When we moved into our home (three months ago), we started renovating right away. Our house isn’t as modern as yours, but we’re enjoying making it our own. Here are a few pictures of the work we’re doing now. This is going to be a long journey for us.

We’re in a similar situation- my husband just took a job that will allow us to move closer to my parents. So we’re praying and crossing our fingers that we’ll be able to sell.

I love your bedroom! We have a similar bedspread. But I’m jealous of your matching bedroom furniture. :)

What a nice house! I love your furniture and kitchen. (Not to mention the cute paint in your daughter’s room.) I’m still considering doing that to my daughter’s.

Trisha, I think we have the same dining room set! Good luck with the selling! (It’s not as bad as everyone says it is!) We just sold our home in 6 weeks so the market isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be!

We have had this dining set for 7 years and 4 military moves..its shot to hell but i still love it.

My dad sold 9 houses last month so the market cant be *that* bad. I am hoping we have the same luck you did!
