I knew about the Nestle formula issue long before the recent Twitstorm (my word) because I discussed it as a case study in a college class. At one point, I hoped that once that information got out, that Nestle would be upfront in answering the questions that many people say they’ve tried to ask the company but didn’t get an answer about. As the Twitstorm raged and the name calling and snark started, I doubted any real dialog would happen. What upset me more was that the people who went to the event were being personally attacked. NOT COOL.
Sad, because that could have been a good opportunity for discussion for both sides.
