One to war, the other to a tragic accident. I've seen first hand how this can destroy someone forever. My own son is named after my half-brother that died at war, and my father *still* after 23 years (since his son died) can't bring himself to say his name. This is not a grief that ever goes away. It simply dulls and slides into the background, ready to hit you with painful ferocity when you least expect it. My heart goes out to Shellie, it really does. All you can do as friends is BE THERE for her. Both my father, and my sister lost sons. One to war, the other to a tragic accident. I’ve seen first hand how this can destroy someone forever.
