As we all know when you have a baby or a toddler, they want to be held. They want to be close to Mom and Dad. I always found when my girls were little that it was so easy for them to be in a pouch baby sling. That’s why when I was asked if I wanted to review a new baby sling from Polkadot Papoose, I was thrilled!
Here is a little bit about Polkadot Papoose:
Stylish…Practical…Irresistible. Call them what you will, but unless you’ve worn one, you can’t possibly appreciate the artistry, versatility and comfort of a hand-crafted Polkadot Papoose baby sling. Established by a free-lance babywear designer with a vision for a product that would capture the hearts of sensible-yet-fashionable moms from coast to coast, we are more than a brand; we are the hand-scissored edge of the babywear industry and the “must-have” baby sling for the modern mom.
Polkadot Papoose is proud to offer a wide variety of designer fabrics to suit almost any taste, from vintage to sophisticated, from trendy to the retro-simplistic, and from traditional favorites to the newest creations from breakthrough fabric designers featured exclusively on Polkadot Papoose baby slings.
When I first received my pouch from Polkadot Papoose I was so pleased with the beautiful fabric and the softness of the material. It is a beautiful combination for a reversible baby sling. I’ve worn tons of slings, whether they’ve been pouches, ring slings, mei tai’s, or SSC (soft structured carriers), I am a huge advocate of babywearing.
I’ve found that the easiest to wear kids in for a quick trip are pouches. And that’s why I’ve decided that the pouches I like best are the reversible ones like Polkadot Papoose makes. The fabrics are stylish for anyone who can appreciate different moods like modern, retro, and sophisticated. Its nice because whatever fabric personality you have, you will be able to find a baby sling that will fit it!
I have to say that my favorite part of my Polkadot Papoose is the pocket that is on the sling. As you can see from my pictures below- (or maybe not) there is a pocket on the outside and of course on the reversible side. With other pouch slings that I’ve found, they call themselves reversible but yet they don’t have the same things on both sides, so it can still be limiting. The pocket on the sling is perfect to put a credit card in or even a small set of keys- heck, maybe even a cell phone might work depending on the size!
Note: Please excuse my own picture taking, grumpy little lady who isn’t feeling well, and Reagan who decided she wanted to be in the pictures too.

I have actually never got to experience using a sling with my 2 kids but I have always wanted to. I have worn one before when I was babysitting another little baby and I fell in love with them. I think they are great and would love one for our next child. I think it would be a great bonding experience. Help the baby feel close to you like when they were in your womb.

I love the Adele or the Sayuri Baby Sling
I love slings because of the bonding time you experience with your baby. I have never “baby wore” before but plan on it with my new baby due in August. I am looking forward to the closeness I will feel and the calmness my baby will feel when she gets to be held close to me! Strollers are so unpersonal!

I honestly cannot remember if I have already entered this giveaway or not? So just in case I haven’t, I like the “Maya Baby Sling”

I love the blues and greens of the maya sling
I love slings simply because they allow me to hold my baby comfortably for a long time! My arms get tired, and I just can’t do it. I tried a wrap sling when my DD was little, and it was a little bit of a pain. I decided to make my own and that wasn’t fun because I had a huge knot and it wasn’t comfortable to wear. With our next kid I plan on finding a good sturdy sling and using it all the time!

I like the Melanie Sling. I’m not a big fan of bright colors, so I prefer more of the cool colors. I’d love to see a black and white or maybe a brown and teal style.
