I just added one of those post view things

on the blog posts. Unfortunately it obviously cannot back count, so I have posts that say “2 views” with 150 comments. It’s going to look like my site skipped 4th grade math. Kinda like I skipped 4th grade grammar (don’t all nod at once here).

I think it adds to the imperfection of c’est moi.

Now I will know how many times someone is reading and NOT commenting and I can get all super paranoid at why I am not worth a 4 word sentence that says “I read this shit” or “Go suck on an egg”.

Wait. That’s 5 words.

The stress has begun.

Awww, I am seriously so jealous of your blog and computer skills! I can’t even figure out how to add the subscription option to my blog and you know how to record page views! God, I am tech-illiterate! Hee hee :)

Oh Oh….I usually don’t comment but don’t want to be a lurker so this is my comment. OMG….how lame was that. Maybe I better stay a lurker.

I’m so behind the times on this stuff. I seriously should switch to WP, but when I tried it made my head hurt…for several days…then I gave up. The post views thing is a new one on me.

BTW, you so totally don’t suck. Thanks for sharing your expertise and experiences with us :D

Oh yeah, and your retweet button is showing up on the right hand side over the post text in my view (Firefox). I didn’t notice it last time I was here. Just thought I’d mention it.

Keep rockin’ the blogosphere Trisha. We love your posts!

I came back for WW and saw this. It seems to be fixed now. Whatever was wonky is gone. Maybe it was my eyes and not FF, lol.

        Looks great :D

Oh, just thought of something. Someone somewhere (not me, because I don’t know how) should create a comment plug-in that allows lurkers to just pick from a drop down list of pre-typed comments. Then they could leave you the four words you crave.

Okay, I feel guilty for lurking now. How about instead of, “go suck on an egg” I say, “I love reading your posts”? Hope that works better for you :P

I was quite comfortable lurking and now I have to be all self-conscious. There, 12 words, wait, 16, do numbers count? what about the hyphenated, is that one word or two? sigh

Here are a few things you can pull out

      1) you suck
      2) you are awesome
      3) this post sucks
      4) this post is awesome

      interchange at will.
