Charlotte’s running a 104.5 temperature, so I wont be around. Perfect time to run this post! Any tips on how to take it down?
The Blogosphere is so big…lets narrow it down and hear what YOU have to say. Leave your link or someone elses link in Mr. Linky of information or posts you want to share! (specific post, not just blog link) Then take time to go to someone elses links and leave a comment and let them know they were ‘heard’. I cant wait to Blog Hop your links!

My son used to get febrile seizures, (he inherited the trait from me) so I’ve BTDT. As people have mentioned, alternating Tylenol and Advil is good. Keep her in a t-shirt and shorts. A warm, not hot or cold bath. Don’t cool her so much that she starts shivering (they used to put me in ice baths at the hospital, my poor baby self – as in it happened when I was a baby). If she is so cold that she shivers, her body will work to warm herself up, actually I think shivering warms a body up even. Give her plenty of fluids and lots of rest. I hope she gets better soon!
alternate Motrin and Tylenol like the others have mentioned. I hope shes feeling better soon.
Thank you for the opportunity for some linky love, and I hope your daughter feels better.
Poor little thing — when my kids have a fever, we go for popsicles! It is so hard to get them to drink, especially my 4yo, so this was one way to get something cold in her.
Hi Trisha,
This is my first time posting a link to my blog on your site. Thanks for taking time to get new bloggers and experienced ones to publicize their blog. Great work!
I hope your daughter feels better soon. I’d do what Louise suggested. It’s really important to bring down the fever as quickly as you can.
I hope she gets to feeling better!
Oops, not sure if this is going to double – post, but hope Charlotte feels better soon!
Aw, hope your little one is feeling better soon! And that no one else in the house gets it…
Love the idea! Sorry to lil’ one’s sick. Feel better!

Oh, I hope Charlotte is feeling better soon! Alternating between Tylenol and Motrin with LOTS of fluids usually does the trick…but a fever that high generally requires medical attention, unless she’s teething…then the Motrin and Tylenol (and lots of fluids to keep her hydrated) are generally the things that work. ((HUGZ)) to you and Charlotte!
Cool bath , alternate motrin and tylenol . My lil on Devin has a fever of 103.9 also. just took him to the docs this afternoon. Hope she feels better !
I hope she is feeling better. You should put her in a cold bath or take her to the emergency room. I totally freaked out last week when Miles had 102, the doctor said 102 is ok, but 105 is BAD. I might also still be a really new parent that just freaks out really easily, both of my kids are 2 and under. Zoe just turned 2.
I’m sorry – for both of you. That can make time go so slowly. I hope she’s up and around really soon!
Thanks for such a good idea – I’m off to check out what everyone else has to say.
I hope she gets better soon and hope you get sleep soon!
I hope she feels better soon!!
I agree with Tena. Motrin, two hour rest, Tylenol, two hour rest. Lukewarm bath, lots of cold liquid to drink or popsicles.
I’m so sorry she’s sick. That is a really high fever. Poor kid.
Christian was up ALL NIGHT throwing up, so I’m not worth too much today. She seems to be feeling good enough to antagonize her little brother now.
I hope Charlotte feels better soon.
Alternating Tylenol and Motrin is the best. Lots of fluids too! Hope she feels better soon:0)
I hope Charlotte is feeling better! I added a link to my post about the evil squirrel that lives in my front yard. Not a bestseller…but still fun
Take care!

I would put her in the tub and alternate between Mortin and Tylenol, and you can whip out one of those medicine sticks from your freezer…. A.K.A popiscle!!!
Hope it passes ASAP
My posts lately are all reviews and giveaways so I didn’t add one but wanted to say that a lukewarm bath (not cold or too warm) and some Ibuprufen really seems to do the trick for mine. I hope she feels better. Does she have a cold?
