This year I have seen an outpouring of community support for BlogHer scholarships and donations and its been amazing. MomDot was lucky enough to get our BlogHer basic expenses covered by very generous donations and in return, we also hosted a scholarship of our own by blog and boutique owners.
Kim over at Accidental Mommies is now hosting a great one that is being put on by Protect-A-Bed. I have been fortunate enough to work with Protect-A-Bed and they have been huge donators to Bloggers Give, sending a product once a month the entire year. I cant thank them enough on behalf of the camp. Its companies like these that make the world go round.
While I already have my teams basic expenses covered, I am going to enter Protect-A-Beds contest. Right now Alicia, Bridgette and I are sharing a room at the hotel.
I don’t want to spoon with either one of them, although they are both very sexy mommies, so we are drawing straws on who has to share a bed!

Protect a bed…protect MY bed by helping MomDot not cram our 3 ladies, our swag, our friends, and our computers all into one tiny hotel room! I am not even sure our luggage can fit into one hotel room.
Niether one of them ever get a break…Alicia has NEVER been away from her kids before alone. Ever. Its a tradgedy that mothers fall into! You would be encouraging mothers every where to pick up a great hobby like blogging in hopes of going on a vacation….alone.
I want her first vacation by herself to be in a nice comfy bed. PLUS, if she cries all night away from her kids, she can do it on her own pillow…not community pillow. She deserves better than snuggling and playing footsie with Bridgette all night. (what yall thought it would be ME sharing a bed?)
We would use our scholarship for the sanity of our team. What if we get in a big fight over the shower? Or what if one of the girls sits in the bathroom for 2 hours and we cant brush our teeth. Then we have to leave for the conference and breath on someone very important and they blog about our bad breath. Seriously, it could happen!
3 girls…one hotel bathroom, one toilet, one shower, and 2 beds does not for a happy trio make.
