I recently had a chance to try a new social site geared around helping moms get organized and wanted to share it with you all. Its called QLubb. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a group (other then the lonely old me in it that I made….finally, a full group to MYSELF…muahhahaha) to actually put on there and truly test the site out, but I can see how it would be extremely beneficial. It allows you to sign up your organization, lets say a neighborhood, and post garage sales, bake sales, city meetings, local club meetings, and more. Bring your community back to being neighbors that know each other, kwim?
It would be perfect for a Moms Club or Sports group who needed to touch base in one area and let people put up their photos, calendar events, and communicate messages without going through tons of individual emails. Get a coach to sign up to post the games, all the parents can share their pictures, and see a changing calendar. Out with the emails and phone calls, in with the online group site! The great thing is that you only bring in specific members so its not open to everyone and remains private to just your group.
We had a board similar to this but not as developed when I was in the military and it was great for finding and sharing local events. In fact, I loved being able to sign on and find out what was going on in our area.

Neat concept and we can all use a little more help getting organized in one area. I dream of having a place that everyone I know is on ONE site and I don’t have to go to more then that place ever again.

yeah, Team Mom told us about it! So they wanted our opinions….mine is that its a pretty cool site actually if you have a need for it. Totally worth sharing for those that could use it.
