This is my DH putting together the new entertainment center. He has been working on it since 7:30pm. How long do you think it will take him to:
a) put it together
b) how many pieces will end up broken
c) how many screws will he lose

Listen ladies, now that summer is here, its time to shed the self reservation and join in on being confident and happy! I know finding a suit is a pain. I will be the first to admit that standing in the dressing room…anywhere….can make me cringe. But wearing shorts on the beach is just a [...]

That is the reason I put all of our furniture together.
Poor Chris! I love assembling things. My dh never even makes an attempt anymore because I like to do it and I am good at it after so much practice.
Nevermind, i would have to take like 20 pictures.
Lets just say, not done yet. The countdown moves on. He came to bed at over midnight last night.
Count so far: 3 pieces broken 1 screw “missing”
Hold on, ill take a picture. LOL
ok it is the next morning…does he have it together but have about 6 extra screws?
a) he gets it done by Saturday…maybe
b) he breaks 4 pieces & blames the manufacturer for making a defective product
c) he will lose 27 screws
Am I close? LOL
Maybe it’s the name Chris. I should’ve mentioned, that’s my husband’s name too. LOL
As long as he put the back on before he stood it up, he’s good. My husband didn’t do this with an entertainment center we got, and his dad was reading him the directions (NEVER EVER AGAIN). The whole thing collapsed. $200 down the tubes. I was cooking dinner for 8 people and didn’t know. The tools are now mine.
Hee Hee!
LMAO! That thing looks so simpleCHRIS! i am disapointed in you- trisha just take over, you would have been done hours ago!
its 11:30.
still working.
well, he stopped for about 45 min to put charlotte to bed. So im going to say he was out for an hour to be safe. Its now 10:30….not done yet, 2 pieces broken and he put one thing on backwards.
LMAO Hows he doing
a- 1 hour 22 min
b- no broken pieces
c- i screw missing- because thats what we always have missing!
also, my husband would probably have given up and finished tomorrow.
put it together I say 2 hours 15 minutes
Broken none
missing- i say you have 2 screws left
a- at least 1 hour
b- no broken pieces but he will end up with extras.
c- as for losing some screws…there’s a good chance he may lose them all!
45 minutes to a hour to put together, and I hope no pieces get broken, and I say there is at least 2 extra screws that he will insist are not important!
HA HA HA
Ohh hes been at it since 7:30!! (was that 40 minutes ago in your time?)
Change my bet to 1 hour and 15 minutes then
I’m saying 1 1/2 hrs, if he’s like my hubby. I’ll be hoping for no broken pieces, maybe one lost screw (it always happens).
What does it look like puttogether? is it a complicated set up- with doors any glass shelves-icant tell by the pic
a) put it together: 45 minutes- i have faith in you Chris!!!
b) how many pieces will end up broken: ZERO-
c) how many screws will he lose: ZERO hoping the cats dont eat any!
