I got Dh a cat door to install in the laundry room door that leads into the garage. We don’t use the garage for anything but storage, so I decided I want to put the litter box out there and the cats can go in and out of the garage to use it.
We have one older cat that somehow, in her old age, thinks that going in and NOT turning around before going, is acceptable. The result is that she pees, and poops, OUT the box. Its getting VERY old to clean up.
I bought DH safety googles, a saw, and the cat door.
How long do you think it will take him to install it or do you think we will end up with a new door? The good news is that we already paid almost $400 of our medical deductible this year, so its better he does it before Jan 1st so we don’t have to start over.
Oh goodness…I hear the saw.

Is that really all it takes to install one? I thought you had to like hire a professional to put a cat door in, or at least with my husband it would require one. lol

i think you will need a new door! Since the last task (tv stand) didnt go over so well, i lost confidence in him- i thought he was more handy seeing he knew how to get a balloon down from the high ceiling, but i was wrong.
btw did you really get him safety ‘googles’
