ARe you 10? of course it would still bother me if it was a female voice. The whole commercial is tacky and disgusting.

Additionally, its very apparent that I pay attention to what is on TV or I wouldn’t have noticed. My entire complaint was that it comes on everywhere-including safe channels for children in my home. I can screen my Programs, but the programs should do a better job screening the commercials.

Anyone that stops by and defends any of this commercial CLEARLY has no kids. Come back and see us when you get some.

So, in all honesty, this bothers you, but if it was a female voice for the oven, I bet every parent would agree with it. That’s what it seems like. There are plenty of other sexual ads and skimpy clothes in ads, but THIS is what sets you off? Here’s an idea. Just go with me for a second. Perhaps you should talk to your kids because honestly, in this world, this is probably the mildest in terms of sexuality. Of course, most parents (notice I didn’t say all) don’t pay attention to what their kids watch, the ratings on video games, and complain when a.) they see something they believe is offensive their children probably didn’t even notice until their parents threw a fit over it, or b.) Ignore their kids until somthing foul THEY said comes back to haunt them, then blames it on TV. Kids learn more from watching their parents. Why not try being actual role models instead of relying on the television?

It’s crazy that so many of you find this commercial to be gross and offensive. You must live in some fantasy land to think that your children aren’t exposed to many things in school that are much worse. Good thing you don’t live in Europe, where your children may be exposed to sex and nudity on television. Just look at how messed up Europeans are compared to Americans with their culture and tolerance and all…

“I’m uncomfortable just listening to it myself” A very risque’ commercial indeed. I have a 15 yr old who also was like “MOM!, have you seen the new Quizno’s commercial…. but to be “uncomfortable” to hear or watch it personally seems a bit overboard and clearly people are very uncomfortable with their sexuality. Sex it what it is…Sex sells. Porn is a MULTI BILLION dollar industry and 1 thing that is still booming even during the economic crisis. Lighten Up! ….Ban Quiznos for a bad marketing decision which has since been corrected???? If you want to “BAN” your support of a bad thing and is way worse for everyone including your children, your childrens children….. Ban Wal-Mart…They havent done a damn thing to “Fix” their offensive behaviors. Just because they put on a pretty cover to be “supportive of you” and while many of you are worried about this Quiznos sub commercial and blogging about it while not having a job due to the economy Wal_Mart is laughing all the way to the bank with billions in revenue. People need to take a good look at what “is” a problem and what is out on a limb but quickly corrected before banning or refusing to do business with. On a seperate note, I personally do not like Quizno’s food in general so no, Im no Quizno’s corporate insider or supporter just someone who looks at more than the cover.

I say we all sign a letter stating how offended we are by their ad and send it to them. This is one of the many reasons I do not watch television (house sitting for two weeks so I succumbed to the toxic tube).

I am a dad with 3 daughters. I am offended on so many levels I can not tell you. My oldest is 10 and she would recognize the sexual overtones. She may miss some of the meaning but we are talking about a freaking Quiznos commercial. Don’t they have enough crap on TV that I should not have to worry about a food commercial. I personally will do the only thing I can which is to choose not to eat their food again. PotBelly’s is way better anyway so I hope you are all lucky enough to have one near you.

Like you said…….you dont have a child. Children dont need sexual things thrown in their face…they may not “get it” but they sure REPEAT it and about 7 years old…they DO get it.

When you have a child, you come back and see me and let me know if the TV and radio doesnt bother you. I hardly think you will have the same opinion at all.

Regardless, its pretty much trash to put on TV. Sex doesnt sell a SANDWICH.

I personally stopped eating there after this.

The commercial does have its sexual connotation. However, children will not be able to understand it. I believe you are taking this overboard. I agree that I am not a parent and can therefore not see this in the same light you guys do, but I don’t believe in making a big deal out of this. It is not blatant enough for a child to understand. If you really want to scrutinize every small detail, there are plenty of shows on Nickelodeon that make much more inconspicuous references to adult material.

I hate that commercial. I so do not want my kids seeing that. They may not get it but kids are like parrots and will repeat anything they hear. That’s not something I want my child saying.
