*I love to be woken up in the morning by my girls
*despite my complaints I don’t mind cleaning my house- its the laundry that gets me anytime.
*I’m addicted to Starbucks- and my drink of choice is a Soy Caramel Frappuccino
*I prefer to grocery shop by myself; much easier than with kids
*My dishwasher has to be loaded, just right, or else I have to reload it.
*I’m a little OCD with certain things, but others just don’t bother me.
*I don’t eat processed foods
*When Jamie and I went on our honeymoon in Key West we rented a scooter. We had a scooter accident- it was the most hilarious thing ever…I still laugh about it to this day.
*I still kick myself for not becoming a licensed midwife before I had the girls. Now I know its just a matter of time before it does happen

I’m the same way about my dishwasher! lol
I’ll do your laundry, if you come clean my house! ;P
I’m OCD about certain stuff too, but not others. Drives my husband insane. He says it would be easier if I was OCD about everything, but I claim no, and at least I’m consistent in my quirks.
I am LOL about your random thoughts!
–>OMG check out my laundry pile http://yournontoxiclife.blogspot.com/2009/04/no-april-fools-this-is-my-laundry-pile.html
(It’s 6 weeks later and I’m still not caught up, BTW)
–>And I’m with you on the dishwasher. Except that I can load it to get things much cleaner than DH.
–>Starbucks–decaf, mocha, nonfat with whip!
–>am’s please just let me sleep til 7! that’s all I ask!
–> OCD, yes, but odd things I also don’t care about, like how clothes are folded, yet there is a right way to put clean clothes in the basket itself to ensure optimum efficiency in putting them away. SOME people in my house don’t get that : D
I’m not a laundry person. I really don’t mind washing it. I could wash it all but I have 5 baskets right now that need to be put away.
My oldest son knows not to mess with mommy in the morning. Maybe when I get more rested I will love to have my boys wake me up. I prefer laundry over cleaning the rest of the house.
My favorite drink is Coffee Bean Pomegranate Blueberry Latte. I prefer to shop alone too. I find I save money without the kids around or my husband.
You made me feel better about the dishwasher thing. I am so anal about it. My husband wastes so much space when he loads the thing. I can add like double the dishes.
I love your scooter story. Hope no one was injured:)
I regret not going to Italy when my best friend went. It was before we all had kids and she was going to pay for my ticket. What was I thinking?

Laundry is my nightmare also, I think it is because my Washer and Dryer are in the basement.. Our basement is nice, not like liveable for humans but not inhabited by vermin. The problem comes from all the stairs, Draggin all the laundry from upstairs down to the first floor, add first floor laundry and drag it to the basement. Then reverse it after remembering to close the washer lid, to add the softner, to restart the dryer when the clothes are not dry yet..
Many trips.. Hey, I should be skinny with all that running up and down the stairs… Must be the chocolate I am munching on for energy in between.
I’m the same way with grocery shopping. It’s sad but I consider it my alone time. I usually shop late at night on fridays, it’s very quiet then.
Being a midwife is a demanding job to do with kids. I’ve considered it but I don’t want to do another 4 years of schooling, possibly relocate and have to find babysitters any time someone goes into labour. Have you started your training?
I’m the same way with laundry. I think it’s because when you’re cleaning your house once you get your mind set to clean it’s all the sudden a breeze… but when it comes to laundry you have to get in that mind set to put the laundry in, then to change it over, then to fold and put it away, etc… it’s just too much starting and stopping for me! When I get started I like to FINISH!
… but that’s just me
Thank you for that post! It’s nice getting to know a little more about fellow bloggers
