This weekend I went shopping for shoes. I needed some gold heels to match my Mardi Gras Ball dress. For the record, if you are looking for gold shoes, that apparently is equal to “stripper” in the designer market. Every shoe I found that had gold on them looked straight out of a strip joint.
So of course I was forced to buy pair…..why yes, those are gold snake skin imprints on the heel.
Truly, these were the best I could do after three hours and 14 stores. Don’t judge me.
Anyhoo, I could not resist snapping some photos of shoes that were for sale. Keep in mind these are not designer flubs or out of someones trunk of their car.
These shoes were actually on the shelf FOR SALE at the stores we went into at the mall.
It was like Lady Ga Ga threw up in every store and someone shelved it.
DEATH TRAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, these were so bad. It looked like someone took a hot glue gun and ran over to Hobby Lobby and blinged out their moms shoes.
Heels not your thing?
We found JELLIES. Didn’t these break our feet enough as kids? I cannot believe they reproduce Jellies for adults…and they are as heinous now as they used to be.
Um…Peep toe Jellies?
I think I am going to start ordering everything online.

The last time I was at the mall, I couldn’t believe how weird the shoes looked.
I think the designers are TRYING to see if they can be stranger than each other. YUK!
The shoes you picked aren’t that bad and for Mardi they are perfect… the others now… WTF! And it looked like some were still $75! I have to admit though… those lace ones (5th from bottom) are pretty cute.
Yours aren’t bad. The others?! ICK!
OH sweetheart that is bad.
Kudos to anyone that can walk in the death trap pink cheetah shoes! I think the gold ones you got are gorgeous and they are gonna look great with your dress.
I love the shoes you chose! I actually have a pair that is similar (mine are closed toe slingbacks). The rest….meh.
I am so glad the ones you bought look better than the rest.
Whoops – I meant to say some of them are horrid. What’s with the shoes that look like they have Elizabethan collars?
Seriously? Those are horrid.
Wow…that’s the only word I have right now!
OMg hahaha I actually posted months ago on my shaking my head board on pinterest the lace ones from a store here at Cordova. I can’t believe they still have those on the shelves surely they can’t be that good of a seller LOL. However I do LOVE the ones you got!
Oh my word!! I can’t understand how these things make it to the racks.
Oh my! Those are some horrid shoes! I saw some yesterday that I should have snapped pics of.
I like the pink Cheetah one myself, but what do I know? lol
Owwww, my feet started hurting just looking at these. And my eyes? will never be the same again. Accckkkk!
