We make them with peanut butter instead of marshmallow! It is easy having only three ingredients, but such a pain to clean up.

RCT are the easiest thing ever to make! I am gonna have to start making videos for you and B on how to bake, LOL. Ya know what's even better though? Corn Flake Crispies! OMG so good. Same concept but with Corn Flakes and you drop them in little mounds instead of making one big pan and cutting them into bars. I made them at Christmas, but colored green and added some red candies to look like Holly. Sooooo delicious.

THANK YOU!!!

I thought I was the only person in the world who couldn't make these things!!!

I told my SIL (who always makes them perfect, colored, with sprinkles, whatever, she can do it) about how hard they were, and she looked at me like I was nuts!

I only use real everything. LOL! No fake diet crap in this house. But i think there must need more krispies. Its hard when you are doing a recipe and you are not good at it, you feel like you should not experiment. Like i didnt KNOW i needed more krispies...I think its one of those things you have to keep trying over and over again.

Yours look a lot thinner compared to how mine usually come out in a 13x9 pan. You could try to leave it on the heat longer. When it tells you to remove the pan from the heat to add the cereal, I usually leave it on the heat. It sort of fries the the cereal a little.

Definitely use real butter. I use the large marshmallows (40 to be exact..yes, I count them! OCD, I know!)

And try using a little smaller pan so they will thicker.

I line the pan with wax paper (buttered with spray), pour them in, and use another sheet of buttered waxed paper to flatten them out...Perfect everytime!

Good luck!

Did you use REAL butter? That always makes a difference.

Also, once I put mine in the pan, I put a piece of waxed paper on top and squish them together:)

First, always use real butter, second, if they are goey, use less of it, or add more krispies.

The marshmallow to krispie ratio should always be 6 cups to one bag of mini marshmallows...the butter can be adjusted.

Make sure you are not using a low fat margarine because that will not work. The best thing to use is butter with mini marshmallows. I love those things!

I am no help on this cooking question. I can't eat them - I get queasy. Or maybe it's the squeaking against the teeth. Make sme a little funky just thinking about it.
