Yeah- it can reverse itself for something like 5 years or so, so he has to go in for frequent checks to make sure it worked. My bil didn’t, and that’s why my sil got preggo a couple of months after he had the operation.
Dh’s friends lied and said the big V was no biggie. He was a tad surprised by the pain afterward. lol

My DH didn’t have too much of a bad time, plus his nurse was pretty attractive so he was kind of distracted. It didn’t take long to heal and no problems on his end afterwards. I LOVE not having to worry about anything. The stories of getting PG after the fact kind of scare me but not a whole lot.

My brother has an AWFUL vasectomy story… the doc wasn’t prepared, walked in and out of the room to take phone calls during the procedure WITHOUT REMOVING his gloves, then LOST the specimen! He had to re-open my brother’s “boys” and do it again! That night my brother ended up in the hospital with a blood clot the size of a grapefruit in his abdomen. His boys were swollen (from what my sil tells me) to grapefruits for a month. He was out of work for six or eight weeks. After that, guess what? IT DIDN’T TAKE!!! He needs another one!!! Which I doubt he’ll EVER get.
