The way to solve the arguments is either a scrabble dictionary (book or online) or Webster’s.

I didn’t see it on the box anywhere but Wikipedia has the rules about acceptable rules here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrabble

However we always make up our own rules to games..just make sure to make them clear before starting the game LOL

I don’t think your allowed to use proper names or abbreviations in scrabble..I’ll have to go check I have the game in my cabinet. I love scrabble but no one will ever play it with me!

Sorry, Trisha to you and your husband both…we are gung-ho, avid scrabble maniacs and I believe Wii wouldn’t count because it is a Proper noun {brand name is a capitalized proper noun and therefore is not allowed} and OJ is an abbreviation…also not allowed Sorry! However, if you can get away with it I always say go for it LOL!
