Winner #254
Yasmine: oops meant to say sure would be nice** if there were sesame street bathtoys, scrubs, hooded towels and Paint brushes. I know its finger paints but using brushes with sesame street characters would be fun too! my kids could be just like picaso in the tub!
In our house, being in the bathtub is about as frequent as being in the car or hanging out on the computer; its just part of our lives. I use the bathtub as a way to relax, to unwind, to read, to play with Charlotte, and truly, none of it ever gets old. Its just plain fun!
I had a garage sale this weekend and sold about 10 books of mine and all the pages were all bent out of shape and I could see the lady wondering why these basically brand new NY Times Bestsellers looked like they survived WWII and i made a point to say “I read in the tub” and she shook her head all knowingly. You will never see me use a Kindle to read because its the one place I can go that no electronics follow me.
Charlotte’s a big fan of the tub too, but not for the same reasons I am. Its a way for her to play and we pretty much lure her in there with bath time toys, bath soaps, finger painting, and bubbles! There are so many ways to have fun in the tub that it doesn’t have to be a nightmare to convince your child to hop in. Charlotte’s at an age now where she is learning to wash her hair as well, so the whole thing is an adventure from beginning to end.
I can’t think of any kid that doesn’t enjoy playing in bubbles. Mine loves it so much that she generally manages to dump the entire bottle out almost every time we fill up a tub for her. I think Mr. Bubble will always be around as long as kids have access to their bath time fun. We probably go through 3 bottles a month (that, and I use it too!).
Some of the most fun we have in the tub are with the
fingerpaints. They are a great way for charlotte to entertain herself and as an added benefit they double as a bubble bath! I didnt use them for that, so I have no idea how effective they are for that purpose, but they are great for drawing on bathtub walls and painting barbies hair.
- The carton has a paint chart for guidelines on how to mix all of the colors in the rainbow!
- The brightly colored paints are a great way for your child to learn about colors.
- Your child will have fun getting clean with our mild, sudsy formula.
Translation: your child will love this so much that they will dump 14 of them in the tub before you can stop it and the bathtub water will turn dark Navy blue/black. Which basically means for one its FUN and for two, make sure you put one in and hide the rest. They definitely work. I give my daughter way too much credit to operate on her own sometimes.GIVEAWAY
