slotRadio player with 1000 preloaded songs (Closed)

We all know I’m technologically disadvantaged. I don’t mean with the Internet, I mean with current gadgets on the market. Mainly because I am cheap and cheap equals unwillingness to buy things. I actually won an Ipod a bit back but I have never been able to get it to charge so unless I want to listen to it on my computer, I cant use it. Much like my flip. This whole plug into the computer phenomenon doesn’t work as well as its intended in my opinion. Give me a plain old plug into an outlet, thankyouverymuch!

slotradio

When SlotRadio contacted me and offered to to test out their new, preloaded, music player, I most definitely wanted the opportunity to test it out. One thing I am, is very busy. And unfortunately I don’t have time to sit and download songs, upload songs, convert songs, whatever it takes to get them on those players, so when I heard this one had 1000 songs already on it, I was like HECK YA! Perfect for old people and mothers. And people that dont want to take 9 hours to research, download, upload, and pay for 99cent a song.

The SlotRadio showed up and it was very tiny, perfect for running, going to the beach, getting on an airplane and has a little clip to stick on your purse or pants.

Here is what makes SlotRadio unique from all the other players. It comes with a tini, mini, itsy bitsy memory card that you can insert with the music genre you love. Its made by SanDisk which is most likely in your home right now in your camera!

They have Rock, Country, Slot Radio Mix, HipHop/R&B, Oldies, 80-90’s, and coming soon a Daily mix and Workout Mix. Each card comes with 1000 preloaded songs that you can add into your player.

I have a mixed card and you can read the songs via the category (i am more contemporary music) and then listen to songs in that category. The songs were a pretty broad range on the card featuring 3 Doors Down, Akon, Chris Brown, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, George Strait, Hinder, Kaiser Chiefs, Kanye West, Kenny Chesney, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Maroon 5, Mary J. Blige, No Doubt, Ozzy Osbourne, Rihanna, Shakira, Shania Twain, Soundgarden, The Killers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, T-Pain, Trace Adkins, U2, Brad Paisley.

You get the point.

Lots-o-Music!

It was really easy to change from a song or category. The only problem that I found was I could not figure out how to REPEAT a song. Like lets say I was really in a rocked out mood and wanted to listen to Fall Out Boy 50 times in a row, I couldn’t figure out how to do that. Doesn’t mean its not there, but for some reason I couldn’t go back to a song I had already played, only forward. If someone knows, tell me!

Another thing I really was surprised about was that it also has FM radio. This may be something standard in all music players that I don’t know about, but I thought it was a cool feature to be able to change from preset songs to radio when I wanted. If you listen to a morning show on the radio or leave your memory cards at home, you still wont be musicless.

And of course charging. The player can go for 13 hours on a charge. Plus, it has an actual PLUGIN TO THE WALL charger so non of that USB charge crap I have had so many problems with. On their store site, you can purchase adaptors for your sterio system, car, and an arm band for running.
