Today’s topic is “6 pieces of clothing or accessories you’ve owned, loved, and wished would come back in style.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .
This list was tougher to finish than I thought it would be. Did anyone else find that to be true?
Here are my six for this week:
1) Do you remember layering different color socks and then scrunching them down? Well, I don’t miss wearing more than one pair of socks at once, but I do miss those cuddly scrunchy socks that were so puffy that they could fit over your pants. Not sure I would wear them in public, but they are great for lounging.
2) Mens clothing for women. I use to work for a men’s retailer, so I would buy men’s sweaters, shirts, and jeans to wear all the time.
3) Platform sneakers!
4) Speaking of sneakers, I really loved my black crushed velvet Converse high tops. 
5) Black choker necklaces with funky pendants. I had a whole wardrobe of them.
6) I couldn’t think of a sixth item, so my husband suggested “jams”. Do you remember those? They were shorts. I even made some in home economics class when I was 11 or 12 years old. Am I the only one old enough to remember those? :(

I SO loved the chokers with the funkiy pendents… especially with rhinstones or marchasite… cool! And I used to love to wear scrunchie socks with tight acid wash jeans – plus a side pony tail. Boy weren’t we hot stuff??
Throw in a torn sweatshirt and we’d totally be hot stuff!!
This was tough for me too! I didn’t pick Converse since they really are back in style (and I LOVE them!)
Aaaaah, but are there any that are made of crushed velvet?

Coming up with 6 was a lil difficult for me as well! But the platform sneakers are so on my list!

LOL Trish, I so remember wearing the different colored socks. I had totally forgotten about that! And the black chokers…LOL I was in to cameos. And *whispering* my husband had a pair of jams when we met in 1994 ~ I threw them away!
I had trouble coming up with 6 items too. I should have mention hair scrunchies though.

Oh I loved smooshie socks and black chokers with cool and funky pendants!
And i remember jams. I also remember Hammer pants. My husband and I had matching pants with elastic waist and ankles…they always had very loud, bright prints on them. I can’t remember what they are called, but I think they started out for bodybuilders. They were ugly as hell but man were they comfy!
I remember those pants! They were like break dancing pants. I never wore those, but I knew people who did. The closest thing to matching that my husband and I have worn were the same windbreakers, but in different colors.
I did find this a little harder than I thought it would be. I know I’m going to wake up in the middle of the night and think… why didn’t I put that!
I loved the chokers too. I used to make my own with charms.
