Today’s topic is “6 things other people do that make you personally uncomfortable.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .
I think this week’s topic can be interpreted in many different ways. It will be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.
Here are my six . . .
1) I feel very uncomfortable when people smoke around me and my family. Not only is it bad for us, but I cannot stand the smell and the smoke makes it hard for me to breathe. I even get lightheaded if I’m stuck in a closed space with somebody smoking.
2) Hearing somebody scratch cardboard (or even paper sometimes) makes me shiver. I can’t stand to hear it, but oddly I don’t mind nails scratching on a blackboard at all.
3) Hugging! My parents were not the affectionate type, so it feels very unnatural to me to hug anybody who is not my husband, a child, or a pet.
4) Being near somebody who is clearly sick. Even if they are not sneezing or coughing at me, I still feel uncomfortable next to someone who is all snorfly (is that a word?), runny, and congested.
5) When people are pushy about my trying food that does not look appetizing to me.
6) I actually get motion sickness if I am reading on my laptop or in a book and somebody is causing motion. Sometimes my husband or my children shake the bed or the dining room table while I’m doing work on the computer and I immediately feel sick. The feeling doesn’t go away for awhile either.
Now go post your own list on your blog (don’t forget to grab a button) and then leave the direct link to your post on Mr. Linky. Then go check out everyone else’s Small Talk Six lists and leave them a comment so they know you stopped by.

Im a first timer here. These are so great. Thanks for letting us participate.
I totally agree with 4 and 5. I feel exactly the same way. I should not have to justify why I don’t want to eat a certain food. If I say I don’t want to eat it, that should be enough for you. I am an adult, not a 4 year old. I have kind of the same feeling about number 2, except it’s with that hard packing foam. My daughter likes to rub it together…it’s like nails on a chalk board to me. EEEWWWW! I just got shivers!
omg yall, im THE biggest hugger. Watch out.
