Today’s topic is “6 things you love or hate about the ocean.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .
The ocean has always scared me because it is so mysterious and vast. My husband, on the other hand, loves the ocean. He can swim like a fish, loves to sail, and even worked on a fishing boat when he was in high school.
Here are my six . . .
1) I LOVE wading in the water up to waist-deep and splashing around. I have very fond memories of playing by the shore when I was little.
2) I HATE that watching the Jaws movie (I can’t remember which one) made me scared to take a shower never mind go in the ocean when I was in grade school.
3) I HATE having things swimming in the water and brushing up against me.
4) I LOVE taking photos of the horizon, including ones with lighthouses, seagulls, sunsets, and ships.
5) I HATE that I never learned to swim well, so I have a big fear of drowning and being washed out to sea.
6) I LOVE watching and listening to the ocean waves. It is so relaxing.

love your list! I hate when things brush up against me too… ESPECIALLY SEAWEED!
I’m gonna have to skip this one because mine would be too down. I hate everything about the ocean except the sound and even that can get a little annoying. I’ll take midnight ambulances and chirping crickets any day of the week.
The ocean has always scared me too, maybe it would help if I could do more than doggy paddle!
