Small Talk Six: Tearjerker Films

smalltalksix-298x300Want to join in? Go here to learn how and to view the weekly Small Talk Six topics for 2010.

Today’s topic is “6 movies that make you cry.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .

I expect this to be an easy list for me.  Some movies make me cry every single time I watch them, but nobody else seems to be affected by them.  I also don’t watch a lot of movies, so my list may seem a little odd.

Here are my six for this week:

1)  Armageddon (1998)

2)  Turner & Hooch (1989)

3)  Bolt (2008)

4)  Pretty Woman (1990)

5)  The Lion King (1994)

6)  Glory (1989)

Now go post your own list on your blog (don’t forget to grab a button) and then leave the direct link to your post on Mr. Linky. Then go check out everyone else’s Small Talk Six lists and leave them a comment so they know you stopped by. If for some reason Mr. Linky isn’t there, just leave your links within a comment.

We just recently saw The Last Song movie, it was really a tearjerker. My sisters in law and I was just flooding inside the theater. I thought it might be a good movie on my list…I agree with armegeddon too.

  2. Dumbo actually makes me cry every time. Can’t help it. It’s the song that they play when Dumbo visits his chained up mother and she swings him on her trunk. The song “Baby Mine” plays in the background, and they show clips of other animals with their mothers. Dumbo cries, his mother cries, the mouse cries and I cry every time. It’s a killer!

I’m almost crying thinking about it.

  3. The Lion King… lol – totally cried! Turner and Hooch, too. I’ll have to see Pretty Woman.
