I thought this week’s Small Talk Six was going to be easy. I could think of a few patriotic films I love right away, but then I got stuck with the last few and I had to ask my husband for suggestions.
Here are my six . . .
1) Independence Day (1996) starring Will Smith, Bill Pullman, and Jeff Goldblum
2) Glory (1989) starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, Cary Elwes, and Morgan Freeman
3) Saving Private Ryan ( 1998) starring Tom Hanks and a whole list of top ranking actors
4) Armageddon (1998) starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thorton, Ben Affleck, and Liv Tyler
5) Black Hawk Down (2001) starring Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor, and Tom Sizemore
6) In the Line of Fire (1993) starring Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich, and Rene Russo

I love all those movies, Armageddon, Independence Day and Saving Private Ryan are among my favorites. However I decided since I’m Canadian I’d blog six Canadian Patriotic films (or rather made in Canada) that we are proud of.
Hope you enjoy!
