Today’s topic is the “6 things that never fail to make you smile.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .
This week was an easy one for me. Thinking of six things was a piece of cake. Maybe I should have put a disclaimer that we can’t talk about our children this week? Anyways, here are my six . . .
1) Tickling my children and hearing them giggle with glee.
2) When my dear husband surprises me by coming home from work early. Yeah, I’m usually happy to see him, but I smile because that means I get a break for a little while.
3) Watching what my 5yr old does when he thinks he’s alone.
4) Watching my children interact when they are being kind and gentle towards each other and our pets. (Not when they are fighting over toys or chasing the cat with the plastic frying pan.)
5) When I wake up peacefully on my own in the morning rather than being awaken by kids yelling, a dog barking, or the phone ringing.
6) When my husband stubs his toe. I know that sounds mean, but he stubs his toe A LOT and it’s become an unspoken joke.

Your hubby stubbing his toe makes you laugh….A woman after my own heart! I’m sorry but it IS funny to see stuff like that, otherwise how would sites like FailBlog even exist? LOL
A few weeks ago was the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations. I went with 6 ways to have a lucky New Year according to Chinese tradition.
I think listening to a child’s laugh is the most beautiful sound ever!
LOL I personally love to see my husband stub his toes too!
Probably because he thinks it’s hilarious when I hurt myself because I’m a clutz. It’s like payback.
