Today’s topic is “6 things you would rather do yourself, even if you could pay someone else to do them.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .
Although I have improved over the years, I am still a little OCD and a bit of a control freak. There are some things that I would just have to do myself. I think I could allow someone to clean my house for me without any problems because I hate cleaning. They just have to do a good job and not move anything. :P
Here are my six for this week:
1) Decorating my home
2) Shopping for gifts (I really enjoy searching for the perfect gift myself.)
3) Shopping for clothing and accessories for both myself and my children
4) Folding the laundry (Each thing has to be folded a certain way, plus it weirds me out to have someone else handling my family’s clothes and underthings.)
5) Caring for my children. (I’ve never had anyone aside from my husband and myself, my parents, and my sister & BIL care for our children. I just don’t think I could trust anyone else aside from their school teachers.)
6) Managing my family’s finances (Even though we don’t have that much to manage, I still don’t feel comfortable not paying all the bills myself and knowing where every cent goes.)

Folding the laundry is a big one for me… I am a real freak when it comes to that, my hubby really makes fun of me about it too. He messes things up just to tease me.
I’m also really OCD about my silverware drawer, everything has to be in its proper place and in the right order… I’m just a weirdo!
Folding the laundry – yes! For me, this goes into the same category as wrapping gifts.

Oh, why did I not think about shopping for gifts?! I think it’s great to see the things that are important to people, and the similarities and differences we all have
I pay the bills too. Hate it but, would never want someone else to do it.

I think you and I were about even on most of them. I didn’t think about the family finances ~ that is such a stress headache but I hate talking to people about money, especially our money.
I also love doing the clothes shopping in my house! Now folding my laundry – I’d gladly hand over that chore
I didn’t think I could come up with that many, but this was actually fun. Thanks! I enjoyed your list. Though I would give fortunes if someone else would do my gift shopping for me… ugh! I’m no good at that.
