Smarter than me…

Something was up.

I’m not sure what.

I saw my weird kid running around with a clip on tie on, so I grabbed my camera and went to look for him.

And I came upon this:

what

The weird one standing in the corner with his hands behind his back, the little one just watching him intently, and an oddly happy balloon witnessing it all.

But the damn balloon refused to talk.

I found nothing in his hands, nothing on the floor that didn’t belong and nothing behind the couch.

But I know.

SOMETHING was up.

I think they might be smarter than me….

And that stupid balloon continues to mock me.

Trust those instincts Mama. He may have just been picking his nose but trust your instincts that he is indeed hiding something. At the very least make him think you know he is hiding something.
Believe me when I say they must think you will always find out the truth or you are a goner. Survival of the sneakiest.
My sons are grown now. Trust me on this.

My little dude started with the ties at 2. Now at five still hasn’t out grown the obsession with ties. As for the balloon, corner it, if it doesn’t talk…show it a pin!

Sometimes, they’re just WEIRD, Felipe. No real explanation, just pure weirdness.
