There were lots of awesome lies on the Sony Reader Giveaway. Truly, it was scary. I got a giggle out of the husband one, the “hizolla, voldy” one, and the one that pretended to be me.

But my favorite was a simple one liner:

I totally need this! It will be perfect for my daily hour-long workout at the gym.

Because isn’t that the biggest lie of all? And admit it…we all tell that one way too often.

If you know one thing about me (providing you come here often) you know that I am an avid reader and go through several books a week. Yes, a week. I am a freak of nature when it comes to the amount of information I can inhale from books.  While I am not the type of person that will ever get rid of a real paperback book and replace it with technology,  I love the idea behind the Sony Reader and its ability to travel and go on vacation with you without taking up any space.

These little readers have gotten so lifelike its just like reading a book!

Plus, shoving books into an already full suitcase or a car trip really isn’t practical and I often leave them behind and whine about it when I get to my location.

Enter the Sony Reader! The Sony Reader has many types of technology that can fit your lifestyle. Depending on what you are reading, how much you need to carry, and how often you download books, will determine which is the right reader for you.

I recently finished and fell in love with Memoirs of a Geisha  and am right now engrossed in a John Grisham novel called “The Brethren”. Aside from blogging and writing (quite crappily this week, I might add) I always find time to sit down in the tub, grab a book, and fall into whatever story is in front of me.

To partner with the reader, Sony has created a really fun site called Words Move Me that allow you link up with the emotions books made you feel and connect and share with other readers. As part of the Words Move Me website, you can find suggestions of books that sound interesting and head over to browse Sony’s E-book store and install books right into your reader.

From Dan Brown, Stephanie Meyer, and James Patterson, the Sony’s Ebook store is full of more then you can read in a lifetime. I also found it very convenient that you can download over a million books for FREE right from Google eBooks via Sony. With that many books available for free, you may never need to even purchase a book!

If the readers can catch up to text books for college, I think there may  be something to this! Can you imagine carrying a reader over 10 books? I would so be on that train.

Here are words that move ME in my interactive widget. Just hit the ones to the right or the left to see some of my recent favorite words:
