Pick your pleasure! We have to admit we are partial to Erin from PlumPearApple. She approached us about her totally awesome new mommy business where she makes SuperHero capes for boys and girls alike, and then she made us like her by offering to help bloggers in our forum with thier questions. Regardless of how selfless and awesome she is (which, btw, she is a source of excellent advice), the fact is, her product is Cute Cute Cute.

From 2 to 10, being a SuperHero is a part of so many children’s lives and why use a long sheet that drags behind and dangerous, when you can bring your child’s imagination to life with a custom made cape, complete with thier initial!

Erin has offered us a custom cape to give to one of YOU!

1) To win, Check out her site…and then tell us, how would this cape enhance your childs play time? Do you have something in mind material wise that would be an awesome cape?

2) To get an extra entry, add us to your twitter (if you already have, then just note that, that will be your 2nd entry), make sure you note in a 2nd comment box.

The winner will be pulled Monday, August 4th by Random.org and please support this new Mommy business by letting your users know she exists. This is a fun and very lowcost Christmas item!

What a great idea! With a child that has recently discovered pretend play, this superhero cape would most definitely give ‘em hours and hours of fun.

  • Liz Cranage says:

My grandson would totally love it. It would allow him to be Super K and fight all the baddies. Last night we were coming up with things to stop happening, i.e. no more falling off the bed, no more stepping on yucky stuff, etc.
We had wrestling/boxing matches which ended in both boys being a winner and the cape would be another part. For him I know it has to be Lime green with purple blue orange & more green on it somewhere. I had bought him a shirt with bat wings but hes out grown it.

  • Heidi says:

Oh these are fabulous!! My son is always running around the house with a blanket over his shoulders pretending it’s a cape. He could really use one of these! His pick would be green or blue with a orange or red Pow symbol.

  • Judy says:

Do you know how many towels I have to tie around necks in the course of a day? My boys LOVE to play superhero – how cool would it be to have a REAL CAPE??? Totally awesome giveaway – thanks for the opportunity!

  • Katie says:

My daughter would just LOVE this product. Right now, at home, she often takes my scarves and wraps them around her shoulders like a cape, pretending that she could fly. She’s SO happy when she does this that it just makes me smile all day long.

  • Jennifer says:

This is a great idea for my nephews. The only trick is that if I do win this, I will need to be purchasing a second one so that both boys (brothers) will have one. It does not work out so well to have something special like this for one and not for the other.
This cape would make my sister’s life so much in easier in that when my nephew wants to be a Superhero for the day, she wouldn’t need to worry about him choking himself on his tank top that he puts around his neck and lets billow behind him and she won’t need to deal with all the stares when she is taking him out and about in his Superman pajamas!

  • Christina says:

I am glad I came across this! Ever sense my son started watching Super Why on PBS kids he has been a huge super hero and reading fan! I think one of these capes would enhance his playtime by making him feel like the super her he is!! He would have a blast taking part in designing his own cape! Going to go add you to twitter now! Thanks!

  • Jo says:

This cape would enhance my daughter’s playtime because she would finally have a real cape to play pretend with instead of the makeshift one I use out of a towel for her:)

My son Caleb is all about the superhero stuff right now! He would so dig these great capes! He would be overjoyed to have his initial on the back of his very own cape! She is very talented! Thanks for the review~
Thanks for the contest and chance to win!

Those are absolutely gorgeous! My little babe would love to have one in purple and green, her two favorite colors (but only when they’re together, go figure!).

  • Gina Lane says:

My daughter runs around with an old blanket tied around her neck, yelling “Super Abby” so this would definitely be a step up for her. It would have to be pink with a princess crown on it with an “A” embedded in it for “Super Abby” of course!

  • I’ve been following you on Twitter for a while. Apparently, I lost you in the whole Twitter failure a week or so ago, because I had to re-add you. Nonetheless, you’re there now!

  • My daughter loves to run around, and I can totally see a purple swirl cape flying behind her. That would be great fun!

  • Emilie P says:

I’m not sure what pattern I would pick, maybe rainbow, but I would choose either the crown or star for my little guy with a bit “L”. I watched the video on her site with her little boy picking the winner for her contest. Too cute! It really made me smile.
