Pick your pleasure! We have to admit we are partial to Erin from PlumPearApple. She approached us about her totally awesome new mommy business where she makes SuperHero capes for boys and girls alike, and then she made us like her by offering to help bloggers in our forum with thier questions. Regardless of how selfless and awesome she is (which, btw, she is a source of excellent advice), the fact is, her product is Cute Cute Cute.
From 2 to 10, being a SuperHero is a part of so many children’s lives and why use a long sheet that drags behind and dangerous, when you can bring your child’s imagination to life with a custom made cape, complete with thier initial!
Erin has offered us a custom cape to give to one of YOU!
1) To win, Check out her site…and then tell us, how would this cape enhance your childs play time? Do you have something in mind material wise that would be an awesome cape?
2) To get an extra entry, add us to your twitter (if you already have, then just note that, that will be your 2nd entry), make sure you note in a 2nd comment box.
The winner will be pulled Monday, August 4th by Random.org and please support this new Mommy business by letting your users know she exists. This is a fun and very lowcost Christmas item!

I have purchased 2 capes as gifts from Erin. They are beautiful and already loved by my nephew. He has turned into Super Ollie. I highly recommend them. Plus you are supporting a great stay at home mom.
Hope I can win one for my little girl. Girls need capes and super powers too!

My 2 daughters would love to win a cape!
I love the pear apple or rainbow dots with a star or heart emblem with our initial. SO CUTE!
My little girl love Larry Boy (the Veggie Tales Super Hero). There is a line in the movie where they say “The world needs a hero!” and she will yell along with Larry Boy “I am that hero!” With her our super hero cape, she could really be that hero!
I love these capes…the fabric choices are great too. My favorite is the Rainbow dots. I’d love to have one with a P on it, with a crown hanging off of the P. How cute would that be??
All of my kids would love this. My daughters tie scarves and bits of fabric around their necks to act as capes, but they never stay on and eventually, they’re destroyed.
My son has told me he wants to be a soupE Hewoe when he grows up, so he’d love this too.
These capes look like they would hold up so that all my kids could play with them (for more than 5 minutes) and wear well.
we follow on twitter!
thanks!

being that dancing/singing diva that my 4 year old is, this cape would be the perfect for her “show”

imagination is everything! I love this! And so will my kids.
Also, I follow you on Twitter now!
My son’s superpower is his kung-fu kick! Hence his nickname, Kicker!
I’d have a “Pow” felt cut-out. I think I’d go with the “Outer Space” fabric lining, with the “Blue” fabric, and the letter, “D.”
I also follow you now…
How terrific!!!
Since he was really little, our now 8 year old son had said that each one of us has superpowers with a superhero name. (He calls me “NapGirl”!)
He is a very tall 8 year old so I don’t think this would work for him and our little guy is too little.
HOWEVER — for our daughter…this would be so great. She tends to focus on all things princess. So I would love for her to start to focus on her own “superpowers.”
Pink…with the black and pink polka dots…and a crown…and the letter L.
Ah…the fashion world will now be safe
I follow you on twitter now
I love the candy stripe material for the inside, bright pink on the outside with a crown… for my super hero little princess!
THose are soo cute!!! Hayden likes pretend play and I think he would love to have a cape!!!!
What a wonderful tool for the imagination! This cape would be so neat for my daughter’s play; she just loves it when we drape a sheet over the safety gates and pretend she’s a princess in a castle, then the ‘dragon’ (aka her stuffed cheetah) trys to get into the castle and the ‘prince’ (aka daddy) saves her! Over and over and over again . . . I think the rainbow circles on one side and a solid color on the other ,with the crown design – of course – would be too cool!
MY son is already running around the house dressed up in some kind of get-up! He would love a green cape! Thanks!!
Those are just too cute!! Maybe if my little guy had one he would stop carrying around his “man purse”, can you tell he has an older sister? I would do a blue cape with the rainbow fabric, with the star and a Z for his name! Too fun, and good luck to all who have entered!
Ooooh! I was hoping this would be a contest soon! I love Erin’s site and her capes! My son would love to have one made from blue with the candy stripes, the pow emblem and a big A for Aiden. He is a total superhero junkie, only he always wants to be the bad guy. Maybe this would inspire him to be the good guy every once in a while.
On a side note…I would look pretty hot in one myself…I’m thinking pink, with the black heart confetti material, the heart shaped emblem and my own big A for Andrea, can’t you see it? So hot!
And, I am already a twitter follower of yours!
