SuperFun, SuperVillian, SuperCrazy….(closed)

Pick your pleasure! We have to admit we are partial to Erin from PlumPearApple. She approached us about her totally awesome new mommy business where she makes SuperHero capes for boys and girls alike, and then she made us like her by offering to help bloggers in our forum with thier questions. Regardless of how selfless and awesome she is (which, btw, she is a source of excellent advice), the fact is, her product is Cute Cute Cute.

From 2 to 10, being a SuperHero is a part of so many children’s lives and why use a long sheet that drags behind and dangerous, when you can bring your child’s imagination to life with a custom made cape, complete with thier initial!

Erin has offered us a custom cape to give to one of YOU!

1) To win, Check out her site…and then tell us, how would this cape enhance your childs play time? Do you have something in mind material wise that would be an awesome cape?

2) To get an extra entry, add us to your twitter (if you already have, then just note that, that will be your 2nd entry), make sure you note in a 2nd comment box.

The winner will be pulled Monday, August 4th by Random.org and please support this new Mommy business by letting your users know she exists. This is a fun and very lowcost Christmas item!

  1. My daughter loves to run around, and I can totally see a purple swirl cape flying behind her. That would be great fun!

I’m not sure what pattern I would pick, maybe rainbow, but I would choose either the crown or star for my little guy with a bit “L”. I watched the video on her site with her little boy picking the winner for her contest. Too cute! It really made me smile.

OH I love this! I really like the apple pear pattern. My daughter would love this. She has been experimenting with putting my clothes on and she turned her bib around so it would be a “cape’ hehe

Fabulous my son loves to play batman, superman ect.. He generally just grabs a large towel to use as his cape. A nice cotton cape that fits well would be much better…He will be thrilled.

  6. Cindi says:

I love this cape! Having their own initial on the back of the cape is definitely going to make a child think they are the super hero. I think there could be more solid color capes like red, green, and yellow. Please enter me in your delightful drawing. Thanks, Cindi

  7. Amy says:

My kids LOVE capes! They both have their blankies tied so they can slip them on as capes when they “superhero” NEEDS to come out! As far as material goes for a cape, I actually like fleece, would that be warm! Superhero’s can’t work if they are cold! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  8. I love the candy stripe cape. I teach my five girls how to be strong independant women everyday. To let them be superheros in their playtime, with real capes to jump off the couch with, and to play with when we go to the park on a windy day, this would be such a fun gift for them this coming holiday season!

  9. I have twittered you, not sure how it hadn’t happened in the past.

    :)

my three-year-old son would love, love, love a turquoise cape with a big red star . . . he’d be SuperTalker!

  11. Ginny says:

My youngest has the best imagination and she is so into super heroes. Being a girl, she doesn’t like the idea of boys toys, so this would be awesome.

  12. Genevieve says:

One of my daughters wears dressup clothes at least 50percent of the time. And we have an abundance of “mean bad guys” (invisible) to fight around here, so being a superhero would be right on! I think stars or rainbows on the back would be great!

  13. Suzanne says:

Oh and I already follow on twitter :) @scorbett

  14. Suzanne says:

As the wife of a comic book nerd and mom to a nerd-in-training, I don’t think there’s any way we COULDN’T have a blast with these – they are fabulous!!! I wonder if she would do an adult size one for DH….matching capes for the two of them could only lead to more madness :)

  15. Jessica says:

My two boys would love to have a some of these caps!! Bubby(Connor), has a SMALL Superman cap that really only fits around his Woody doll. He was Spiderman last Halloween.

    These are great capes!
I suggest for girls, maybe using silk would be nice.

  19. Jamie says:

My boys love to wear costumes around the house! They would love one of these capes! The solid color capes are my favorite :)

  20. Bridgette says:

I think it would be SuperCute to design a cape for my daughter, Lily. It would have a frog on the outside and a cute LilyPad design on the inside.

    It’s SuperLily!!
