Super WHY! Hurray for Heroes Giveaway! (5-29) CLOSED

On Monday, May 25th, America will observe Memorial Day in honor of the soldiers who have and are currently fighting to defend our freedom.  To help families celebrate this Memorial Day, fans young and old across the nation can celebrate and learn about heroes with Super WHY!

This Memorial Day, PBS Kids will be airing a two hour Super WHY! marathon called “Hurray for Heroes” in which two  interactive episodes will debut.  If your kids have never seen Super WHY!, I highly recommend it!  Lily absolutely loves yelling out the answers and she is truly engaged while watching the episodes.  I am amazed how much Lily is able to comprehend and the show really lays the ground work for reading.  The superheroes make books come to life as they unveil what the power of reading can do!

From the press release:
During the two-hour Super WHY! – Hurray for Heroes TV event, Super Why and his heroic storybook friends help a fairytale knight face his fears in the launch of George and the Dragon, travel “over the river and through the woods” in Little Red Riding Hood, jump into a book for an interactive island adventure in the debut of The Swiss Family Robinson, and show a stranded princess how to rescue herself in Rapunzel.”

That’s not all PBS Kids has in store for Super WHY fans!  The TV event kicks off a summer of Super WHY! theme weeks, online games and free downloadable materials.  Kids can also play the new Wonder Red’s Freeze Dance Rhyming Game!

GIVEAWAY

To help kids harness their own “super powers,” MomDot is offering a super special Role Play kit from toy manufacturer Learning Curve and Out of the Blue Enterprises (producer of Super WHY!).
