Celebrity Baby Names
Naming your child is the single most important, and fun, thing you get to do. Its the name you yell when they run across the street, the name their teachers pronounce and announce from the first day of school on, and the name people see when they are sending in a job application.
When we were doing our names, we went through a ton of them. We had narrowed to quite a few “E” names and were easily able to knock out letters of the alphabet we didn’t like. Even so, we went back and forth on a name until our daughter brought home the name “Phoenix”, which we altered to “Phoenyx”. While its not an unusual name, its not a usual name either and I don’t expect my soon-to-be son running across another one in his classroom in his day. I actually really liked the name “Hero” but my husband vetoed.
Le Sigh.
