Two products that I have found useful as a new mom

Two Must Have New Mom Products

Puj was one of those items I had added to my baby registry. It was very unique and with this being my last baby (no, for real this time) I was intent on trying as many cool baby things as possible. Plus, as a C section mama, this tub advertised a “MUST for c-section moms” in that it reduced stress on the whole incision area since it was a standing tub.

As the universe would have it, a friend of mine referred me to a rep of Puj (without me ever mentioning it) and before I knew it, Puj had sent me a courtesy tub and someone had purchased me one off my registry. I take that as a sign that I was meant to have one.

PUJ SAYS:

The Puj Tub is the easiest bath tub ever! Made from a soft foam that folds and conforms to almost any sink, the Puj Tub cradles and protects the baby during bath time. Hang or store the tub flat anywhere you would like…even on the back of your door and out of sight! The soft foam protects baby’s skin from the cold hard sink, keeping baby feeling safe, warm and happy-just as if baby were being cradled in her mother’s arms! Using the Puj Tub, mom and dad now have two hands free to bathe and everyone is enjoying bath time. The perfect gift for the new mom to have on hand when she brings her little bundle home from the hospital. The Puj Tub cradles and protects baby, allowing parents to wash with both hands. You no longer have to lean, bend, sit, or squat just to bathe your child. A MUST for C-section moms.

At first I was a bit wary when I took it out of the box.

It’s this really lightweight foam material and uses magnets to snap into the shape of a seat to lay in the sink. So when my friend Lynsey came over a few weeks back to hang out with Phoenyx and I, we decided to break it out and test it.

Of course with our logic, we thought you had to lay it this way:

Um. That may work for some sinks, but all poor little P did was fall straight to the bottom of my super deep sink.

And scream.

Not that I blame him.

Did you know?

Its really easy to just grab a battery and throw it into your electronics without any care of what that battery does or why it goes in there. But if you think about it, I mean really think about it, you realize that batteries are constructed with specific life for specific electronics and choosing the RIGHT battery may mean the difference in your camera working at the right time versus going dead the minute you have a “Kodak” moment.

Battery Education

There are many different kinds of batteries from Alkaline to Rechargeable. In my home, I most often utilize the alkaline to power my baby toys, although I should probably be using the rechargeable since I know I will be running my items long term. I am just seriously running out of plugs to even charge things.  You would think as a blogger that I would have hoards of other items that must run on batteries, but nope…my life is fully consumed by baby items.

Just call me a “mom” blogger.

hehehehe

To help YOU out so you can spend less on the things you dont need and only exactly what you DO need, Rayovac has come up with a way to help you easily identify which batteries will last the longest in your household- baby items OR techy items.

Things to Remember about your batteries

Alkaline

  • Household electronics like boom boxes…do they make those?

Rechargable

  • Frequent usage items like game controllers

Lithium

  • High drain devices like cameras

Of course you can always head to Rayovac on facebook and ask questions about you are looking to power and what battery choice is right for YOU! And thank you for following on my personal Rayovac journey the past year. It has been a blast working with the Rayovac team on educating myself and my readers on the items I use every day like batteries.
